I think they make the demos with lower number of cars just to make sure the framerate is stable since its not the final build yet. That and damage may be one of the reasons why they might have lowered the number of cars since damage will obviously tax the hardware more.

Actually this sounded good in contrast to the sc430 vid and the real thing(sc430) sounds sort of like this(motul gt-r), only higher pitched.

Also, note how fast are real gear changes!💡(it's just a really quick three-fingered jab at the paddle, and disregard the type of transmission for now, that's not the point) PD's animations are robot-like and slooow.:guilty:
p.s. hardvibes: lol :D

What? Source please.

It's just speculation but most games I've played recently, off-line single player looks much much much better than online. COD:MW2, BFBC2. They all lose that finishing touch that makes offline look so great. I just wouldn't be surprised if online looked less amazing than offline.

His brain?
wow, good one.

And yes, I'm waiting for someone to come in and say those are shooters and this is a racing game so it's completely irrelevant.

Figures it would be someone completely irrelevant.

Shouldn't 90% of this forum go with it?
I was just saying that I WON'T be surprised if online has toned down graphics. It's the norm and as much as all of you want to think otherwise, GT5 will have to make sacrifices.
Why does everyone jump down the throat of everyone who might mention something, realistic?

LOL are you for real?

I keep thinking that 16p will only be for online since the graphics will be less polished in online play.
Thank you.

It's not realistic until it's proven to be in Gt5. And you didn't even say "in your humble opinion", you said it "WILL" like it is a fact. It is not.

I don't know why those shooters have worse graphics online. I certainly can't think of a reason to. Unless you mean split-screen? Anyway, PD pulled it off in prologue and I don't see why they would change that in GT5.

I only see that happening if PD increased the graphics to the point where they can't put 16 cars in the track anymore but didn't want to hinder the online play we have in prologue, thus decreasing the graphics in online play to support 16 cars.

It's a dumb move considering single player would suffer. I don't think it's gonna happen. Prologue has 16 cars and they never said anything about decreasing that number. I think people are just overreacting.

Hehe you are loged on to YT all the time ;P ?

lol I actually came off of MAG, logged on laptop and firefox opened his page and that vid had 4 views!! He uploads them all at once but makes them private until the video has processed to 720p.

Yep, I know that 👍

Cool@ that replay. Love how the flowers are affected by the cars' speed/presence (when they fly by) they are whipped back and forth. Attention to detail, folks.

Is it possible you could comment on the physics since you seem to understand the concept of driving (ie you don't crash into everything you see like the hundreds of other videos we have seen)?

I'm not sure who that was to, but no-one here has the demo. If you click on the video I posted he says the physics are between prologue and the TT, the build is from CES.

Message him on youtube with questions and he may reply. Just remember he's French so keep he slang to a minimum.
