Not his fault, its the CES demo.

You're right. I'm just getting a bit tired of seeing it though, it's one of my favorite tracks and all...but how many times have we seen it now?

With the same car(s), no less?

I read an interview awhile ago regarding why he's angry when his games released. It's because he feels it can still be improved even when ready for release.

Don't know how exclusive this is?

I noticed different weather (or sun positions) in these two GT5 videos below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TXpXclylWg PUASE AT 1:45
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk21eOIdR4w PAUSE AT 45 seconds

The shadows are shading in opposite directions yet both cars are in the same place on the track.

That would be great news = dynamic time change.

But I could not figure it out, if someone can: is it possible to put a screen shot of the same positions and the different shade?

What we need is a demo presentation, (E3), in which a fictional track or a brand new track in the center of attention.

I'd love to see a demo focusing on just Silverstone or SPA, or just Trial Mountain or Deep Forest Raceway. We need more green in our tracks, and those last two provide such!

I know re-posting is frowned but:

Back on topic to GT5. Believe it or not I think the PS3 being "cracked" ie hacked will push forward the release of some PS3 titles (maybe GT5). Why? Piracy has had an extremely adverse affect on the PC and 360. If MS had a penny for every pirated game they would be a making a ton. Sony DOES NOT want to see this happen on the same scale to the PS3. Right now the issue is relatively small but with the magic of the internet and word of mouth news will travel fast. The sooner SCE and PD release GT5 (or any other title) the better. Then they can make sure any future customers don't crack their PS3 by adding in content they did not get to put in as DLC. Similar to what BFBC2 did. IMO this is a bit of stretch but I guarantee SCE has at least thought of it. What Sony really needs to do is release an immediate fix (not just FW 3.21) that squashes this problem for good. Although I do not think piracy on the PS3 will reach 360 levels, due to the extremely large size of the games, and the fact that nothing will be playable online (ie the online part of the console has not been hacked).

It isn't really taking anything back to the original topic. It's your opinion, of a GT5 fan, as what SONY should do in lieu of the PS3 being cracked.

"GT5 Latest News and General Discussion"

I am pretty sure I am on topic. Also maybe this is not exactly what SCE should or will do but it is definitely something they are thinking about.

Are we certain that 458 segment is on Fuji though?

Yes, you can tell by the grid boxes. (Which you can see in both videos). Plus if you look at the Italia in the Fuji pit lane (earlier in the video) the shadow is still opposite the one on the FT 86 video.

And please make screenshots of it.
Wasn't worth it, Just a screen shot of the 3 SLS cars on SSR5, with a 7 questions that went like thus:

1,Mong: What was the hardest part of development?
Kaz: Collecting high precision data for HD gameplay, development of the server and software for online functionality and the rest of the game.
2, Mong: Are there aspects you've changed after seeing rivals games?
Kaz: Not in particular.
3, Mong: How different will it be to prlogue?
Kaz: The look and feel will be similar but GT5 will be totally different in diversity and scale.
4, Mong: We hear GT5 will be playable in 3D? Would you consider adding other technologies like motion control for this game or in the future?
Kaz: If there are any display peripherals r devices I'm sure we will work to support them.
5, Mong: Given more time would you add more cars to GT5 or are you happy?
Kaz: I couldn't say it was enough, cars have 150 years of history behind them.
6, Mong: One criticism of the franchise is the AI feeling robotic, will you give GT5 a more human feel?
Kaz: Up until GT4 it was about getting the laptimes correct, now that has been somewhat successful an attempt to make the AI more human in GT5 has been made.
7, Mong: Having worked on the game for so long will you be relieved to see it finally done?
Kaz: I would probably be relieved in the terms of fulfilling my responsibilities. But I may be angry at the same time. As it has been with all of the releases so far, I'm never fully satisfied with what I create.

I cut down the questions a little to save typing all the crap but that was the whole interview.

It´s like you are an old man, you ignore everything in the world and think you are the only man who knows everthing. He can learn so much from other racing games... How ignorant he is... That´s the reason why the GT series doesn´t improve that much... We get great graphics and a lot of cars and tracks but nothing more... 👎

Yeah we know... It seems like 6 years isn´t enough for him...

I haven´t expected more from this PS3mag... We will get the same dissapointment at the E3 2010 you will see...

I can´t forget Hideo Kojima´s words: "Delaying games is the biggest crime that you can do to your fans"

wow kaz said it wasnt enough
How many years do you want to for development?
This is just a game and we live in Real world skip your dream dreams never comes to real.

Pause at 1:17 in the 458 vid, you will see the shadows are the same.

Nope, both cars are moving forward on the Fuji front stretch/pit lane. At 1:17, where you said the cars shadow was the same as the Toyota's, the Italia's shadow is cast in front of the car. In the Toyota video, the car is moving the same direction on the same straight, and the shadow is cast behind the the car.

128gb blu ray discs are almost here
Wonder if GT5 will use one of these or if all the data would fit on a standard 50gb disk?

Because both BDXL and IH-BD are specially designed formats with specific market segments in mind, newly-designed hardware is required to play back or record BDXL or IH-BD media.

Something tells me GT5 won't be on the new format.
