Your link says that "Namco/bandai has narrowed down the release date".
The link is for a german gaming site.
Am I missing something? I'm a little groggy today but...

I read it but not sure if I believe it to be fact. The translation says it was said "at the official announcement." So it doesn't tell me where and when. Then it goes on to say "...now a new release list shows that TDU is to get 2 in September 2010 on the market."

Nonetheless I dont really care because its not GT5 lol

That's why you open the link....
Namco/Bandai has narrowed down the release date for Test Drive Unlimited 2.

Because Google Translator sucks.

I did open the link. I even opened the link inside the link. I read the article and the other linked article. And I posted my comment.
I'm sorry I'm still not following.

Well yes, but I would just assume the Publisher of the title, in hopes of wanted demand for game to rise, would have made sure news like that hit more then just a foreign website than of their publishing headquarters.

Right Atari and Eden Games are developer and are french. Namco is Japanese. Who is the publisher? Half the sites say atari the other half says namco. Namco is what confused me in the first place.

Namco is the publisher for the EU version of the game. That is confusing. Why have a japanese/american publisher for EU and a EU/american publisher for US?

You know, publishers often have more info than us gamers.

They might have an idea about GT5's release date.

TDU2 will ship in september
so is F1 2010

and NFS whatever is slated for november.
(i probably forgot other racers coming this year to, list is bigger).

It's a common thing to avoid heavy hitters so your product doesn't get killed in sales.

So... they are lining up to go against GT5 or they think the game will ship before/after those dates?

I think they think they will release before GT5. Releasing afterwards won't get them many defectors from GT5 and those playing GT5 won't go elsewhere for a long time. Releasing before GT5 will get them some of the people who are tired of waiting.

The official WRC game is slated for December...
