He didn't slam on his breaks or anything, just stayed at around 130. The AI had 20ft of space between cars at the start. Within a couple of seconds they rear ended him, twice, without bothering to maneuver around. So the guy going 30kph slower than he should, is the reason he got rear ended?
Trust me I can see your point, but in this case, there is no defending the AI.

Let me add:

So the guy going 30kph slower than he should on the racing line, is the reason he got rear ended?

Yes. In real racing, if you're going abnormally slow you stay off the racing line because it can lead to collisions just like that. Yes, the AI did not react but that was not the primary cause.

Who the hell removed the licenses tab? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_5

They removed this chunk of awesome as well.

There is even a 4/20 joke in there.

So what you're saying is that real drivers wouldn't see that he is going slower even with a 20ft buffer, and instead of going around him, they would plow into him one after the other?
And what you're also getting at is that he AI doesn't stray from the RACING LINE? Agreed.

In real racing you stay on the racing line because it's the most predictable path. Cars lapping you have the responsibility to do so safely. It's only in Formula racing (particularly F1) that the blue flag means "Dive out of the way now!" and missing three of them means a penalty.

Actually I removed it. Same for the forza 3 stupid thing on the picture description and the 10.000 cars/700 variations.

Back on the licenses topic, I don't believe there ever was a V8 Supercars one in GT, unless you think a game that only has a single Black Knight (TickFord Falcon XR8) to play with could somehow be called Chess (V8 Supercars).

"I was already involved in the development of the Nissan GT-R which was like a dream come true for me. But if we're talking about another dream? I would have loved to help build the McLaren F1."

Haha ..I'm sure he we like to work on the McLaren F1 so that he would get the car as compensation just like the GTR..lol

Even Gordon Murray who designed the F1 and Peter Stevens who styled the F1 both don't even own one, let alone being given one.;)

And then it was time for the detailed figures. In the final game will be over 950 cars and 20 circuits. Various configurations of these increase the total to more than 70 tracks.

That's quite interesting. The whole article is actually very interesting.

*Speaking of NASCAR, Yamauchi noted that the deformation and damage in these high-speed races will be absolutely amazing and true to life, with turns, spins, rollovers, and so on. We will have to see to believe.
*Arcade and GT Modes are the same as previous versions, but taken to the next generation. That is, new graphics, new physics, new details.
*In the shop there will be many accessories to improve your cars. The master was particularly proud of this facet of the game. He commented that we can change almost every imaginable piece of the vehicle, not just the typical sections of the engine, brakes, etc.
Nothing is really new but a confirmation of things here and there.

I have a feeling that if it is really 20 tracks they will be doing what T10 does and make a track that has 12 variations. Not liking this at all.👎

Quote from the Top Gear interview..."How do you prefer to play Gran Turismo - steering wheel or joypad?

If you have enough space, using a steering wheel is definitely better for honing your driving skills. If you want to learn how to drive well, get a steering wheel. However, at work I play with a steering wheel but I go home and play with a joypad. "

Maybe we should let Kaz know that there is a great section here on GTPlanet...Cheap home made cockpits...:)

Also, the replies Kaz gives are in very good English, I wonder if Kaz used a translator or answered in English himself?
