Also, the replies Kaz gives are in very good English, I wonder if Kaz used a translator or answered in English himself?
He has a translator (san). He understands english but he doesn't speak it very well...

I think it is speculation, but it does sound very promising to me. But still, I refuse to get my hopes up incase it turns out to not be true. So for now I will keep waiting.

Post it here please, so we do not have to go to their site to see what you are talking about.

This article has been posted before so I didn't think I had to but here you go.

SONY
Update: Sony has offered clarification about the video, saying that it hasn't officially announced any 3D-compatible titles and that the gameplay footage shown was not making reference to any upcoming 3D software.

That last feature included interviews, footage from CES 2010, and a brief montage of SCEA titles intended as examples of what 3D gaming might encompass. It is hard to do justice to just how amazing 3D gaming looks in a 2D presentation—even in an HD product such as Qore. However, as we wanted to give our viewers an idea of the possibilities that 3D gaming has to offer, we decided to use stock footage of several first-party games that were on display at the show, including Killzone 2 (a 3D version of the television commercial was shown at CES).

Unfortunately, our feature did not make it clear that the 2D game footage was included for demonstration purposes only. We apologize for the erroneous inference that 3D versions of LBP, Wipeout HD, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5 or Super Stardust HD are in production.

Not to bring up the tracks thing again, but there is no way in hell there are only 20 circuits.

I'm going to assume GT5 is the same way as GTPSP. Even on the box of gtpsp they list something like 30 tracks with 70 variations. While in actuality it's close to 45/90, something like that.

So GT5 'might' not be 3D after all? Or is this article old and is 3D confirmed through other sources?

There is GT5 3D, that article was assuming things based on some video which was then refuted by SONY as actually being 3d.

Thanks to both of you. :D I also put the Porsche (YA RLY) and Forza Motorsport 3. I found the latter to be amusing.

I may have been involved in putting some things, maybe...:sly:

OK, I did write the "Release" part, as well as adding Tour de France, Soap Box & Lawn Mower racing.

Maybe the 20/70 thing doesn't include PD fantasy tracks? I don't have GTPSP but maybe someone can confirm this using the 30/70 on the box of GTPSP?

There are only 9 real tracks not counting variations, and 35 total(Including fictional tracks) not counting variations.

The box just says 35 tracks, apparently.

There are actually 45 tracks and 72 variations, sorry.
I remember the number being bigger when I was researching it.

This makes no sense to me now. It says on some sites 45 tracks with 72 total variations. On other sites it also lists 45 tracks but that is already including reverse and stuff like that.
I'm just gong to assume from now on that gt psp tracks = gt5 tracks.

The Top Gear interview is interesting, and the 'true to life' damage is interesting as well. I hope there isn't one way that a car will act when crashed, because seeing the same part of the car deform every time you crash, will get old and might as well be wasted effort

But at least even the same damage models will add some tension to the game as long it makes the car slower and even dead.

If i remember correctly (my PSP is in a friends so i can't check) there are 45 tracks and variations divided into, Real, City and Fictional. Only City and Fictional have reverse tracks taking the number upto around 72.

EDIT: I think there is another section called off-road/rally/dirt or something similar, i have not done these on the game yet i think these are reversable too.

Yo guys do you think Porsche has already been implemented in the game?

I heard the contract was for 10 years with EA, and it's been over 1 month since it expired.
