I found list of Sony's game for E3 and there no GT5?!?
http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/04/28/jaffe-no-new-game-at-e3/

Buddy, there's an entry list for E3 2010, in E3 own site(I'm too lazy to get you a link ). There you can find a list of exhibits, Sony Computer Entertainment is confirmed. A couple of weeks ago, someone here in GTP told me that SCE was listed back in 2009 too, so GT5 will be there.

The list is updated in a daily basis, so it's worth checking. ;)

That list is so fake. Here's the real one:

Mhh I wonder why they don´t bring an GT4 PS3 edition? It would keep us busy till 2012... Last week I´ve tried to play GT4 but I can´t even see the coming corners, only phat pixels... There is a GT4 1080P version but It´s nearly the same, also big big pixels...

Actually, that kind of game was planned for release back in 2006, it was the original "GT HD" game and it consisted from all content of GT4 improved to HD standards (named "GT Classic" mode) and separate mode which should have delivered quaility for future full GT5 release (I can't recall the name of the mode and I'm lazy to google).

The project was scrapped very soon and Kazunori decided to put all the efforts in creating GT5 engine instead toghether with GT PSP game.

"GTHD" was renamed to first next-gen GT demo in December 2006, while assets for advanced version made their way into GT5:Prologue game in 2007.

Scene it? Porn Edition
I doubt it.

It would be the only Scene it? title I'd ever buy :D

GT HD classic and
GT HD premium

I'm glad they scrapped those plans.

Well, april 28th already. We're almost at the point of having actual news to talk about.

Thanks amar... I think it would be better to bring that GT HD then spending 6 years on GT5... We still got no full GT on the PS3, (nearly) 4 years after release... November 11 2006 was the Japan release for the PS3...

This might be controversial to some but I’d rather wait and have GT5 with a new engine as the full game than GTHD released years ago.

Exactly, GT4 HD or GT HD Classic would be much better than this situation. Now we've been missing Nordschleife and Le Mans for several years and surprise factor of GT5 will never be the same like if we never saw GT5:Prologue.

The idea was scrapped since there was a rather large number of complaints over how the game itself was proposed to work. Basically they were planning on doing what iracing.com does and charge for more content with the game only coming with a small amount of content. This would not be the same as DLC as we know it though since we are talking hundreds of cars you would have to buy.

Although all of that could just be skewed memory.

No, GT is never presented in any list because PD is part of Sony Computer Entertainment.
I don't know why we have to clarify this before every damn show.

No, you are right - there was a time when GT was supposedly going to release as a cut-down version, almost like Prologue. The idea being that you buy additional cars, tracks and game modes as you want them - so if you want a basic package, you pay less, but if you want the full monty, you pay through the nose. Thankfully, this got scrapped!

What's the reasoning behind that? Can you give some clarification?

I think there is no clear reason for keeping quiet. GT is a strong brand, and should be presented actively. We deserve more info, regardless of Sony owning PD.

Hahaha what the heck!? "Scene it? Porn Edition." I wonder how many people would rather buy that over Gran Turismo 5.

Sorry to carry on the issue but I think a properly upscaled HD version of GT4 is a great idea. I, like all of us here, love that game but it looks terrible on a HD telly. So much so that for me it's unplayable.
It's a shame, especially as I would get some use out of the G27s flappy paddles for a change.
