No doubt! I cracked up this morning when the actual thread discussing E3 was locked due to all the schnanaghans. HILLalarious.

This game is something else...

Lol yeah. I mean I can see why it was locked I guess, but give us a break, we are playing the waiting game here. Gotta let us do something :sly:

For me, it's the lack of details which is the most frustrating. 5.5 years and we still know very little about a supposedly HUGE game. But why?

Afraid of the competition taking advantage of the ideas?

At this point, I don't think PD could reveal something which will blown my mind (then again, we'll see!). I'm still very excited, but come on, give us what we want to hear. Advanced/complete features list would be helpful! I want to know what I am getting myself into when I purchase GT5. E3 should provide such information.:)

Couldn't agree more mate. At this point the surprise (if that's what they're trying to do) is meaningless and I doubt anyone really cares about surprises. But that said, they might wait until a fortnight or so before the release of the game then just be like "Stuff it.. lets release a full list of features, cars and tracks". But with Le Mans 24 hr Race coming up and E3.. we're sure to see a lot of info during that period.

I wouldn't mind seeing a car list or a track list. I want Sony to give me reasons to buy Gran Turismo 5 (despite the fact I'll get it regardless). But that shouldn't be Sony's stance. They should be selling me the product. And they can only do that by divulging the most important/innovative/new features!

PS Move? Next, please.

Sony 3D TV's? Next, please.

3D GT5? Next, please.

Actual details about the game called "Gran Turismo 5" which has been worked on for 5.5 years? Yes, please!

I've got manners.

To make most money out of us, Sony will release GT5 at a high price, say around USD 110. Also, I guess GT5 will have downloadable packages, for which, of course, we need to pay. Around 5.5 years of development worth it, but for young gamers, well it's quite unfair.

P.S.: I'm in my 30s:)

Id have to disagree, i want it to be more of a surprise, so while some information would be great yeah, i want somethings left for us to find out ourselfs :)

Thats almost been ruled out by several quotes from Sony about that hasnt it? Iv read several places that its very unlikely that they are planning on any DLC.

I don't really want a track and car list to be honest.

I think the surprise of unlocking and finding new stuff is half of the GT experience.

I wouldn't mind having a track count though to finally clear up the location/variation issue though.

I think expanding on the nascar and wrc with a run down of the online options would be good enough for me. Maybe a quick look at final damage and a bit of rollover tossed in too.

To be honest even if they just flashed a concrete release date up that would be enough. I'm going to buy the game anyway, the more surprises the better IMO.

As I type I keep thinking of new stuff, weather and livery editor aswell.

Just all the stuff thats going to be there without going into specifics basically.

So, how about additional packages bought in stores?:dunce: I don't think Sony will lose the chance of making money out of us as much as possible.

Also for those (like me) who are unemployed with zero income. At the moment.

Yeah but if you consider the fact that Gran Turismo only comes around every 6-7 years,
and you divide the price through the years.. it's still a good price/time ratio:P
Btw, I think it's worth 100USD.. I waited so long for it that a high price won't stop me.

Yeah i think we have the same thoughts on this matter, either way we are going to buy the game so just want to know just enough to keep us going untill then.

Yeah but end of the day your guess is as good as mine at this stage! :)

Hey, will all cars have realistic crash damage? Cause ive seen something that says that only PREMIUM cars will have the most realistic crash damage?
(Yeah, i know im a newbie)

 I don't care either. I will deffinetly still buy it. No doubt about that. It will vary in price over here. EB and Game will probably be $109 and places like K-Mart, Big W, Target and Toys R Us will be around the $80 - $90 mark. I always go to Big W usually. That's Australian Dollars by the way.

I would probably sell most of my furniture if the price of GT5 was so steep I couldn't afford it, as it won't get much use anyway once that disk slippes into my PS3, only need a fridge/microwave/sleepingbag and plenty of food/nicotine supply apart from the hardware needed to play it ofcourse. ;)

Exactly, but for GT5 the price doesn't concern me (still get it from Big W if it is available on time).

With regards to the car list, since there are almost 1000, they should at least reveal 500, and maybe some racing events, on and offline.

I bet more than 70% of Gran Turismo 5 players won't make use of the 3D feature. Waste of time in my opinion.

Id almost guarantee that it would be higher then 70% (currently, but in future years when technology gets better/cheaper it could go down), in my experience (just trying it out in shops) i think that its pretty good in the movie i was watching, but theres just no way id buy a 1st generation 3DTV, give it time to get better and better

It's more that for every 3dtv they sell, chances are they will sell a ps3 and GT5 with it. I can't see many of us getting 3d tv.

Well, as much as I think it's a complete waste of time as well, technology does have to start somewhere, and will always be in the minority until it naturaly becomes mainstream.

agree on 3D.just not now!!!maybe closer to 2011 it will be very nice addition but now?after so many waiting.imagine delay after every new addition...constant delay...:(

In regards to 3D, it may be a waste of time. On the other hand, it's Sony placing their money on the fastest horse.

I mean, wouldn't you...?
