I just noticed something, All these recent videos, There not GT5, there a WIP, I think the real GT5 was shown once, The one that had the Updated HUD, The "G Meter" at the top....
What we have been seeing so far, are "WIP engines" Also, That image with the "blurred" out picture. Just a thought though.

Could you explain what the "WIP" engine is?

It only does PHOTO MODE, that's my best guess as to what the missing "MODE" is.

Its "Career Mode". There is a picture somewhere where its blurry, but you could make out "Career" if you looked close enough.

As I said in the other thread, I really hope to see a true Career Mode almost as much as race mod, the livery editor and track creator.

The only does everything messages implies the present tense.

You cant say the playstation does those things for a game months away from release. I would expect an imminent release date, Sony would be wasting their time promoting a game due Q4.

Criterion + Hot pursuit = pure win.

Actually if you pause it before It Does Everything Letters, you can Read Customization.

Also I saw Career Mode, Online Racing, 950+ Cars, Rallying, Drifting, Damage, Realism, and theres one in the part where Damage gets blue that says XXXX Mode, I just cant read what mode is it, but Guessing here I believe its Photo Mode.

Nascar. You better see when you reduce the size of the pic. And you can see that career mode is repeated a second time.

At least one Sony regional exec said it would be out for Xmas, but then it was not confirmed. So, no, there was not a press release and it was not official.

But yes, they were aiming for xmass but changed their minds.

If you choose to not see it that way, I respect it, and most certainly will not say that YOU FAIL. And the word fail was applied as in "failed to deliver".

I'm trying to think of how it would work. Since there were no license tests in GT5 I can imagine starting out as an auto-cross amateur with civics and sentras, picking up sponsors, earning licenses through racing, and eventually climbing the professional race ladder. That seems like a nice and easy way of doing it. Just adding a few screens here and there to GT4 would already make it feel like a career mode so it's possible. Just put a loading screen before and after races showing regional/professional rankings, earnings, requirements for next stages. That would however take away from GT Mode, the bread and butter of the GT series. So it's either one or the other.

Seeing is its been reffered to as the "Pre E3" trailer, I doubt it'll happen.
