So just to be clear:
We sent one of our own to E3, and we still cant even get an answer on car interiors (let alone a hands on... WTF is he doing?)?

What? The article makes it very clear that the level of detail needed for premuim cars take so much time to implement it that Polyphony couldn't introduce it for all cars. There is no misinterpretation; it couldn't be clearer. To suggest otherwise is foolishness. It's still very possible that this is a misinterpretation.

@amar:Thanks.
Oh man, if that cockpit thing would be claryfied I would be really happy, but only 200 cars with cockpits would be a huge letdown for me. 8(
The behind-closed-doors session is today - and there's a video of him driving the Rally Toscana course posted on the news page for upwards of 12 hours now. How much more "hands-on" would you like?
Remind us what you're doing for GTP?
Most other general gaming sites have already had a sit down with PD and played the game (the real game not the show floor demo). What was the point of sending someone if we get less information from them than the general gaming sites? Even just from the demo he could have said x cars are premium, y cars aren't, z cars have in car view... At least something.
And why would you ask what I am doing for this site? Why do you consider that relevant? If I were working on this site would that make the information coming out of your man at e3 more informative?

''every single screw is visible in the hubs, the interiors have been recreated down to the stitching (standard cars won't have interiors, which is a bit sad, but there are, like, 800 of them)''

khm...eurogamer article...You really can follow the action as closely as you want, too, moving about the track, focusing in on the separate cars, and sending messages to the players who are racing, hopefully catching them at just the wrong moment so they make a mess of the next corner and dump their Porsche into a nearby tree.

Do you live under the delusion that GTplanet has more privileges than general gaming sites like IGN and eurogamer? ...
And if you used your eyes you might see on the news page the video of all the cars in the demo - all are premium.
Well then you state that. The correct response to say that gtp might not have access and that the cars all might be premium. The incorrect response is to let your ego get in the way and try to insult people asking valid questions.
I think my point still stands that sending someone there has had no benefit yet. Come the end of the week this may change.
It seems simply questioning anything the site does, even just reviewing if something was worth it, is frowned upon. That is sad.
What information have we got from those general gaming sites that we didn't know before the event? Oh aye, nothing, save the groundbreaking news that GT5 has reverse lights.
What did Sage bring us? A video - the first video - of day/night transitions that you apparently completely missed in your zeal to criticise him.
Oooh, I dunno. Perhaps if you were taking some time out of your life to travel several hundred miles, uncompensated to satisfy the cravings for information generated by a nigh-on two-hundred-thousand-member website, your criticisms might have grounds for consideration - rather than just whining petulance.
You're not happy with the information we've brought (despite missing a chunk of it completely)? You should have booked your own tickets to LA then.
...........Why you get so emotional over this I've no idea. Among adults it should not be off limits to discuss the merits of it.
