GT5 won't really need advertising. Since the sales basically need to be made by the week of Christmas, the thing will advertise itself. I have no doubt that with zero ads other than a few website banners and store posters, the game will sell out within a day or two.
Quick edit: and by this, what I'm saying is that GT5 really could release about any time, and won't need three months of publicity before they launch it. Supercar Challenge, however, probably needs 3 months of ads just to get noticed by more than a few thousand people. GT5 will sell itself.
GT5 Prologue sold 4 million copies and was a platinum pre-seller with almost no advertising. It did this in contrast to Forza 2 which sold as much in a longer period of time with lots of advertising. And by the way, yes, there will be advertising for GT5, but I think it's not going to be that big.Why do people keep saying that? No matter how big something is it still needs some sort of ad campaign to sell.
Every tidbits... ahhhh ANTICIPATION growing!!!Furai concept looks sooo good
I believe those are from GT5. The Veyron, for example, has rendered effects such as bloom around the brake lights and the Mazda shot shows, clearly in my mind, at GT5 rendered track. While the footage isn't from GT5, the cars will eventually show up in GT5. Veryon with a active aero/brake:

And the mazda furai- this car will be amazing in GT5:

Q4 2009, or fiscal Q3 2009. It is the first day of the Christmas quarter so the launch sales + Christmas sales will look very, very good when it comes time to do their quarterly report. Why does it have to be October 1st?!
They clearly arn't GT5, the quality of the models is much lower han GT5I believe those are from GT5. The Veyron, for example, has rendered effects such as bloom around the brake lights and the Mazda shot shows, clearly in my mind, at GT5 rendered track.
Both just look too nice for them to be on PSP and neither look as good as CGI.
Indeed. Check the side mirror, the spoiler of the Veyron etc...They clearly arn't GT5, the quality of the models is much lower han GT5standards. Lower than GT4 even. Look at the openings and intakes/outtakes on the cars, they're flat textures. And the track from that pic looks like any low quality picture of a track, it could be a poor GT4 picture for all you could tell. There's nothing in the track scenery or in view that displays anything to suggest it's GT5.

Seems like GT5 will be at the Sony Playstation event in Paris which is on the 18th of september. Hopefully something new.

So... question. Did anyone ever get scans of that issue of play-mag that supposedly confirmed weather in GT5?
It'll have a huge marketing campaign by the Sony team.
