HELL YES!!!

I haven't noticed the first time i saw the video, but it's a dream come true!

We know the course layout can be disabled from the options menu, so it looks like we finally got our with.

We just need an extra option to clear the lap times and we're set.

but, the video DOES have a track map. maybe you guys should take another look. Or do I need to take a screen grab and circle it?

And besides, in GT4 you could turn off the HUD by going into the options and turning to "Simple" mode. I'm sure the same thing will be true with GT5

sure but it doesn't have all the stuff at the bottom. You could selectively turn things off in the Time Trial, except for the stuff at the bottom even in cockit view

They mean HUD as in the gauges that are already part of the dash in the car. The map and best lap time/last lap time are something different.

Are you REALLY sure it's standard?Or it's just because of that image on official site?Enzo and Veyron are featured too, but they are definitely premiums.

Enzo's listed above "Premium" and the Veyron isn't there. Maybe you're thinking of the Audi R8 LMS with the Playstation livery.

All vehicles have modeled cockpits (170 premium cars will have interior damage modeling)

Someone explain this?

lol, we discussed this ages ago. To death. We think premium cars will show interior damage. (Hood crumpling up in the cockpit view. Cracked windshield, etc.)

* 1,000+ vehicles
* All vehicles have modeled cockpits (170 premium cars will have interior damage modeling)
* All vehicles will have both physical and mechanical damage modeling
* Indy (IRL) cars and tracks
* NASCAR cars and track
* Up to 16 players online
* High-definition video uploads directly to YouTube
*Multi-display rendering
* Head-tracking
* Full weather and night racing on all tracks
* Night/Day on all tracks

Everything in Green has been officially confirmed via what we've heard in the past couple days and seen with our eyes and what Kaz and PD have said. Makes sense that the rest is correct, as well.

and I think the "Interior damage" means a deforming Cockpit. Like when crash head on into another car or wall, and the front of the car crumbles, the pedals and dash and things in the car will deform accurately. (which has never been done in a racing game.) Or if you get t-boned you'll be wearing the rollcage/door in your lap.

Time to wait for Gamescom then to see if this type of damage exists in GT5.

Woah, wait, I thought IRL cars got unconfirmed. Did I miss something?

umm...the Ferrari FI car and Kaz mentioned that expects more FI teams will join in. So, not the a lot of F1 cars, but probably the Ferrari and the Red Bull F1 teams will be in. And we have Indy. and Daytona...I think those are the only oval tracks this time, unless the Test Track makes it in again....and TWM Superspeedway

No.I'm thinking of Veyron, and it's premium.I'm just too lazy to give you snapshot from GTPSP poster with Veyron at SSR5.It's premium.Trust me.Just premium.

I don't know. I don't follow open-wheel racing. They all look the same to me.

:lol:

Well then let me rephrase that. IRL is the Indy Racing League, which races Indy cars. F1 is something different altogether. And I believe that IRL was confirmed by that magazine, and then it was unconfirmed later, so no IRL in GT5 as far as I know.

Think of IRL as going down to a race car dealership and purchasing your car.

Think of F1 as building every single piece of your car from scratch.

F1$>IRL$

But they do not unconfirmed cockpit for all cars...Anyway I don't trust them.

Now that we are talking about F1, I had thought about that interview with Chris Miranda. He that his favorite multi-player feature has not been release yet. What if one of the online features is that your team up with other players in a way that your competing against others teams and your teammates like in F1? Just a thought guys

Yeah that was an older Countach that was shown in the Standard pic, but I hope they have this Countach as a Premium...

I remember this Countach in the PSP Trailer when it rubbed up against the Vette.

sorry guys but after a week to read the same things I am tired. I love GT and I am fond enough of this forum but really inside cabins each post is the word inside cabin.
I'm Italian and translated to us what was written on the official website is that GT will have the inside view but you can not turn your head inside the cabin and the interior are not perfect models as premium

excuse my English but use a translator ....... good continuation

Careful there, posting logical text in this forum will get you criticized! You might want to go to the 'Emo Thread' and rant on how 'bad' GT5 will be with it's 'standard' cars.

Seriously, in all of good faith here with Kaz and PD, why include 'cockpit view' in only 1/5th of the cars featured in the game? The Kaz I know doesn't skimp on details, and 'premium' cars aren't just 'modeled interiors'. Logically it would seem the 'premium' cars can have a variety of colors with the interior and exterior, or perhaps greater customization. Perhaps the ability to upgrade these 'premium' cars into race cars or along those lines. But really. I don't think ANY of these posters here have all the information. I don't consider myself a fanboy, but the truth is we haven't seen Kaz say 'no COCKPIT view' for 'standard' cars.
