Not sure if anyone mentioned this but yes, you can actually polish a turd into a very shiny ball of poop.
Mythbusters!

holy crap, just bought the F40 in FM3... The Cockpit looks so bad... And also it sounds and feels completely different as in GT5P...
The Time Trial felt was even better than Prologue in every regard
Been playing GT5P today and I used, for the first time ever, the Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG. Amazed at the detailed handling...the thing wants to bob about through all the fast corner. It's ace.
I still regard GT5P as having the best AAA sim console handling model. I can't get enough of using rear wheel drives, giving them stick and watching the replays...seeing the back end kick/jolt/twitch out.
Everything looks so bloody natural.

Exactly 1 thing i love about GT5P is all the cars behave differently 👍 Like Coolcolj said the TT was even better. GT5 is going to be the truth man, I have been playing GT5P for over 2 years, and its like 10% of GT5 IMO. GT5 will keep many folks busy for multiple years 👍
The thing you notice, especially with cars like the F40, is how easy it is to drive in FM3.
Whether that is more or less representative of real life, I don't know, I haven't driven an F40. But i'm going to bet it's not as easy to drive as it is in Forza.
Edit:
Weird you posted those pics becuase last night I was eating this chocolate that looks identical to that (Lindt).
Yeah I got to playing Prologue yesterday and I was driving some of the cars I haven't in a while and I hopped into the F40 man I forgot how much understeer that car has. But man was it beautiful. Very easy to kick the rear end out too.
Yeah, the abrupt transition from understeer to oversteer just made me love that car at the first try, everytime I'm playing GT5P with friends, I always use the F40 to show how much technique and precision the game demands, nothing compares to a mid-engined, loose suspension oldie monster to show how deep Gran Turismo is.![]()
Also, some cars just deserve to be driven through hours straight, the classic Ferraris were the best additions to the car lineup since GT4, both look great in cockpit view and both are intriguing and challenging to drive. Just some months 'till november.![]()
Veyron is only speed, not handling. It's handling is attrocious. Don't expect to beat Arcade Mode and GT LIFE with that one car.
Maybe it depends on the driver?
Warning: explicit language (contains the S word that rymes with hit)
No, there have been several on both consoles and PC, the earliest I can remember is Test Drive Le Mans on the PS2.
Anyone else get the email from Sonytodayabout GT5? Nothing new, they were just pointing out some awards GT5 won at E3, and the pre-order for the collectors edition. Nice to know they are getting a nice head start on advertising.
Edit: Wow....yesterday.
Eutechnyx LeMans 24 Hours had it in 1998. on PSone and it is still one of the most importatnt driving games around in my book.
It is a revolutionary game in some aspects, shame nobody almost heard of it because those were different times alltogether.
Its been a while since Prologue, so do you guys think with all this talk about premium cars that they upgraded the Prologue cars with more small details. From what we have seen they maybe wouldent stack up to the current premium models?
I had that game, it was very good for it's time.Eutechnyx LeMans 24 Hours had it in 1998. on PSone and it is still one of the most importatnt driving games around in my book.

...which is so true. It's pretty much lifeless. Watching that F40 video I didn't see any corrective steering and that's with all assists off!The thing you notice, especially with cars like the F40, is how easy it is to drive in FM3.

The wait hurts.I'am getting so pumped for GT5 man I know the new physics are going to be great! Every car is going to be so fun to drive, please hurry up November.
Actually the Veyron isn't THAT bad compared to other cars when it comes to time racing. They did a lap at "Top Gear" with the car finishing in the top 5 that time - you cannot achieve that with top speed only.
But I rather have a great handling car with less hp when I am racing though. So the Bugatti isn't my kind of deal.![]()

WOW BEAUTIFUL MUSTANG!
I think i prefer this model over any of the new ones!
.... when cars were lighter and smaller...
If i were to rank Mustang
1) 60's Mustang
2) 80's Mustang
3) the newest Mustang GT and ford's new V8! 👍
