Porsche in GT! This is a photo of Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid, a hybrid race car which is going to enter Petit Le Mans Series. Just look at the top of the driver's window!!

Just one word: LOL!

^Oh my god!!!!!

If they're in imagine how great the Porsche 918 will be for 24hr racing!

Well, I think it was time already for PD to implement Porsche, I mean, how hard can it be? (I WON'T REPEAT THAT!)

REALLY?! Please tell me that both of you are being sarcastic!:grumpy::grumpy:

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but it has nothing to do with being hard to include them, it is based around licensing issues.

Now Sony reveals to us the utility of the ps-move in gt5!!
Move_Acc_003.jpg

Well, looks like a waste of money to me, if you want to have an analog input for steering even really cheap wheels without force feedback could get the job done.

I don't see why people dismiss Move as a suitable controller for GT5. It's as precise as a steering wheel and...considering the object that steers a car is symmetrical...you only need to track a single point.

I think it would work really well.

ForceFeedback.

As you can see from the pictures, you can't track the orb with the camera with that design and as I stated before, you don't need to.

Ok I found something over at a German Forum (www.forumla.de), a Member called A.D.I.O.S. posted a Link to the website of the German Playstation magazine Play³, which says, that they contacted PD to comment on the standard cars not having cockpits. I don't know wether I should trust them, since they are just a Playstation magazine, like the OPM, which got it wrong aswell.

I dont know if it was allready posted here, since its from last month, but here it is:
http://www.play3.de/2010/06/23/gran-turismo-5-alle-fahrzeuge-mit-cockpit-ansicht/

"PD confirmed, that all 1000 Cars in Gran Turismo 5, are going to support a cockpit view (meaning the one while driving). There were rumors that only the 200 premium cars would feature cockpit views.

""Standard cars will feature cockpitview aswell, but not as detailed as the ones in the premium cars."" was the developers response.
""The existing cars were not simply copied, but improved accordingly to assure an authentic experience from car to car.""

Sorry Custer85, but it appears to be based on the same igamereport.com-blog which mentioned this a while ago and although I would love this to be true, that blog wasn't percieved to be the most credible source ( and the only source ).

Please don't get your hopes up if you didn't believe that igamereport.com report a while back, this is just based on that ( click on the mail bit in that German article for proof ).

It also seems this whole igamereport.com site doesn't exist anymore and when you try to visit it you get itechreport.com instead which is a rather similar looking site focussing on gadgets instead of games.
All the articles are written by the same person ( just like they were on igamereport.com ) although the name of the author is a different one........
This makes the possible credibility some believed it may have at least in my opinion being reduced to zero, nada, nilch........

Has the mission to graffiti the ring with gtplanet been a success? I'm just curious because I remember some GTP members discussing this. It will be awesome to see gtplanet in GT5.

Oh the internet - how one person's wishful thinking becomes a fact overnight.

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet..... 3D footage of GT5 at ComicCon in San Diego. Seems to be Tokyo again. It's nice to see that he's using an R8.

Edit:
Not sure how to embed Youtube video

You mean like this?

Don't really see anything significant myself with this previously unposted video.

Except by the slipstream

I don't get the whole "Look at the overdone slipstream!" stuff. How would you know? You do realize that drag is an exponential equation right? Which means the FASTER you go, just a slight change in drag has a greater affect on the amount of drag force the object is experiencing. So really, what are you basing this off of?
