..at 2:20 I think it also shows a nice collision physic.. 👍 ..the only thing is the AI at 1:28 - 1:40 that I didn't like.. but thinking about what we see at le mans I'm confident.. :)

That tire smoke is great. I can't wait for the first time I have to dive in to a huge cloud of smoke from three or four cars in front of me crashing, hoping I thread the needle through the carnage.
 
I was thinking about the Ultimate Edition for GT5 and I'm starting to think that it'll come with a Special Edition PS3. "But the UE is going to be priced at $200-$250." I know. But, the game doesn't come out until November and Xbox dropped their price to $250 which usually signals a PS3 price drop is on the way and October/November is about the time when Sony would be dropping the price of the system. It might even be a signed by Kaz version of the new white PS3.
 
^That's really old, from 24 hour Nurburgring. Again as per usual, someone on Youtube uploads another person's video, which was already on Youtube...

You said the same exact thing a few weeks ago. Right after sony announced they won't be dropping the price.

I mean Sony's actually making money off the PS3 now, they can afford to drop the price of it. And yeah, they're not going to drop the price NOW. No kidding. They'll lower the price closer to Christmas, like always.

What? So because they're making money off the console now, they should drop the price in order to make the profit a loss again?
 
i was just kinda wondering what kind of music the game will feature, and ig it will have the custum soundtrack like with music on the ps3. and since it had YouTube video uploading will be able to take photos and export them to the ps3 or an exclusive GT5 website. BTW an app 4 iPod touch would be awesome

Those were not sparks, they were sub-atomic particles. You were able to see them thanks to HD. :P

I am hoping it is one of those things that is part of a demo and will be cleaned up by November.

not to make a profit loss. But if they lower the system like $50 or so, they could do it without dropping back into the red.

Ah, boo, hiss! No, I really, really hope PD doesn't follow T10's lead and forces us to send our images to some server to have them compressed and spat out (slowly). Keep the GT4 Photomode system in place; just give us a way to save to our USB's and that's more than enough.

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed we'll get a custom soundtrack option, but even if it hasn't been, it's a safe bet. I'm still wondering why Prologue doesn't have a list anywhere in the game of the songs a la GT4.

Something tells me we'll be seeing an app or two around here, if we aren't getting any from PD themselves.

Why cut the legs out from under the profit machine then? The PS3 doesn't need help selling right now. I could see them doing it when sales slow down, but if it's finally getting them in the black, I don't know why they'd want to stop that prematurely.

Plus, it may be more than it's competitors, but it does offer more...

What I don't like about this video is how during the pre-race lineups they have the first names of fictional drivers driving real NASCAR cars. I don't really care for the idea of having the fictional first names in the first place, but I'm not going to complain about something so insignificant. However, why didn't they put the drivers' names of the actual drivers of each respective NASCAR car?
 
The HUD may be in "simple" mode. You could do the same thing in GT4, where the position would only show up at sector lines and the S/F. Though in GT4 this would also get rid of the gear suggestion.

Is that option available in Prologue? If so, what effect does it have on the HUD?

Edit: Looked at it again, I cannot believe that. Thats kinda a slap in the face to Nascar fans, but I hope this is just something in the demo and not in the final game.
