Okay I didn't recognise her without racing overall, doesn't make that picture any less of a cliche though.

That's an equally dangerous misconception ( as her looks have nothing to do with her driving ability ), although she does seem willing to apply for both jobs as that picture proofs.....
By the way, is this really what we're reduced to talking about in this thread? might as well go visit a more suitable forum for these matters, if there is even such a thing ( which somehow isn't that hard to imagine ).

When I look at a video like this, I realize GT5 has been lacking the rawness of real racing, particularly when it comes to the sounds. Dunno, GT5p feels like I'm driving with the AC running or something. I hope they changed all that for the better for the final release.

Funny enough that sounded like an electric woodworking tool on my speakers. It's clearly not the best sound captured in term of fidelity although I have to agree there's a degree of rawness that is quite beguiling. Also isn't the Zonda R like most race cars lack interior damping which explains for higher pitched sound.
The GT Academy demo sounded quite good although you need to consider that the tuned 370Z still has normal cockpit- sound insulation and well-damped interior:

The worst example is the Ferrari F430 (and 458 Italia), way...way off. I'm really pissed since I drove the spider version a few days ago and the tone color was completely different. One of the best experiences in my life.
Another amazing experience was the Maserati GranTurismo S (I couldn't drive it though). It has the same engine but the car screams A LOT more than the Ferrari. It has the best sound I've ever heard.
If PD will ruin that simphony I'll freak out....
