^^^^ Two things I got from that article:

1)

The only track they were allowing us to try was the Tokyo circuit that ran through the city. I tried it first with a Mazda 3 and found the graphics, handling and sound to be similar to Prologue but at the same time a certain improvement.

Three spins and two crashes later (yes, damage is finally here and awesome) I decided to give up.

Sounds to me like the journalist in question wasn't intimately familiar with GT5P's physics anyway - from the few videos I've seen they look like they've come a long way.

Seriously im starting to believe that gaming sites\magazines need a GT specialist, someone qualified to make assessments based on GT experience

Someone who played GT5P ONCE in a booth, then GT5 ONCE ina booth, are more inclined to say they were similar, the demo time of 2:45(after pit exit) is hardly enough time to analyze the physics let alone compare it to another game's physics. Injustice!

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Jordan should just send in a photo slideshow of everything in the GT forums and images of past site versions.

guys, this is not about just granturismo 5, its about the GRAN TURISMO HISTORY.
ive watched the game trailer and opening movie of Granturismo 1 up to 5!
its really great.. you will really feel the difference.

That is the first time I have heard "70 different types of courses in those locations" from Kaz so far. He doesnt say variations. I think it is fair to say there will be more than 20 tracks, and that 70 tracks is what he is talking about.

The video was published on ign.com 3 weeks ago.

I cant believe that didnt make the news section! That is a lot bigger news than not being able to play the demo at some UK malls.

(Note: the car that wins the award may or may not be in GT5 so whatever car wins isn't confirmed for GT5)

I think the GT award winner at SEMA will be in GT5.
Remember in GT4, the Buick Special was a Best in Show Award winner if I'm not mistaken.
And the Morrisson Corvette C1 is also a Best in Show winner.

2003 : Buick Special
2004 : HPA Volkswagen R32
2005 : Stephen Papadakis Honda S2000
2006 : Art Morrisson Corvette C1
2007 : Marcel Horn's Audi TT
2008 : JR Rocha's Infiniti G37 Coupe
2009 : TBA

So far, 3 out of 6 are featured in various GT games (GT4 and GT5)

I'm guessing the 4 others will make it into GT5

I think it's safe to say that KY won't leave Vegas without answering some questions about GT5. So, yes, with everyone sitting on the edge of their seats foaming at the mouth for a morsel of GT5 info, 5SEMA is an opportunity for some nugget of GT goodness.

Well, might not be any news, but it's now confirmed that the TGS build of GT5 is playable at DigiExpo in Helsinki this weekend (sat).

Someone has seen what could be a GT5 advert.

OMG WTH OMG it was frekkin awesome

was watching men and motors TV like you do and it was a break and a game advert came on i thought probs a 360 one but i will give you the lowdown

although very breif it showed the back bumper of a car not sure what one but the detail on it was awesome then it went to a rear wheel and screen went black then all you heard was the car revving away then the PS3 banner showed and it ended

and yes jizzifying advert

i wanna see it again
