and EU version will probable have more car"s than Japanese version. Same situation was with GT5 prologue!!!:gtpflag:

Which doesn't really matter because the Japanese version gets all the same cars too, with a update.

I think I can wait from March until like May or June. I was able to hold from the Japanese release date of GT5P until the NA version, so I don't think that waiting 2 months after the Japanese release would be much. The only problem is that Japanese drifters would have an edge since they got the game first -__-

Based on Kaz's seeming offence to the question of DLC, we probably won't receive car updates to GT5 and every regional version will get all the same cars from the start, and PD will just save new cars for GT6. Which is crazy, as it will probably mean that there could be 1500+ odd cars in GT6 when it comes out, probably in about 2 years. Which is just insane.

Although that said, PD may start focusing on other areas for GT6, such as adding more tracks (hint, hint Kaz) rather than adding more cars.

In a way I agree with you, but if the NA/EU versions are to have more content than the Japanese, PD will certainly update the Japanese version to not be bias to any of the versions. On something else, I also think there will be at least like 1 minor update a year, probably like 3-5 cars more, sorta like GT5P had an update for simply 3 cars, and like the GT5P update, it'll be free.

I will wait EU version of game because I don"t understand Japanese...and EU version will probable have more car"s than Japanese version. Same situation was with GT5 prologue!!!:gtpflag:

Well, to be fair, as soon as Prologue was out in Europe, the JP versions were updated with all of the same cars

Hehe you will be able to hold on and wait one or two months to get EU or NA version , knowing that you can play now? I cnow that Japanese language is hard :) but in racing game there is not much to read.I agree that we was waiting long time so month or two is nothing big ,but we was waiting knows that no one else is playing.
Sorry for my english,

Ok. Noticed! Yea, English is not my first language. I'm trying my best. So, sorry for that!
I thought this is about Gran Turismo, not about capital letters.

It is, but it's a well moderated forum and it benefits because of this. You know you aren't going to be sifting through reams of "waz up chk dat gtr out, lolz". An extreme slant on poor punctuation but you either moderate correct use of English or you don't, no grey areas. Don't worry though, you arn't going to get lynched for a few innocent mistakes.

Anyway, I agree it would be very nice to see Noble represented in GT5. They're great cars and most testers said they're great to drive.

Copy pasta'd from official GT forum

Kaz was reviewed in this month's Official UK PlayStation Magazine. He said a few interesting things. Which I will now type and highlight and format for you people! :robotwink:

When asked about GT5's GT Mode, Kaz said, "Gamers' habits are very different than back in 1997 when we released the first Gran Turismo. They're spending less time with a single game and this is reflected in the design of GT Mode." I'm guessing we'll have to except more bite-sized chunks? No more 99-lap epics? As always, we'll see.

When OPM asked about DLC for GT5, Mr. Gran Turismo seemed to get a little bit frustrated, "Let me be clear on this. There is a massive amount of content in this game, I don't think there are many teams that put as much into a game as we can. The launch of the game isn't a start, we are releasing a full game. Everything we want to put into the game is on the disc when it ships. Having said that, we do have a sizeable online team that will look after it once it's launched." I guess KY is getting pretty annoyed with EVERY reviewer asking the same DLC question...

When asked about night racing and weather effects, Kaz had this to say, "Night racing is going to be a part of GT5, but with things like dynamic weather, the choice is about whether it will improve the experience. The functionality is not a problem - we've got the weather system done - but if we are not sure about the quality of it, and how it improves the driving experience, we are not going to have it in the game." PD are remaining perfectionists and it re-iterates the point that if it's not perfect, it won't be in the game.

Strangely, the author of the artice wrote two different things regarding track count. Here's what he wrote, "Elsewhere there are over 20 tracks with 70 claimed variations..." And, "The Gran Turismo series started in 1997 on PS1. The first game included just 178 cars and 11 tracks, compared too GT5's 950 rides and 70 circuits." I'm hoping the second quote is correct!

OPM also claim to have a "HUGE GT5 feature" ready for next month's issue (released on November 24th). I'll pick it up and let everyone know if there's something new in the artice/feature.

I'd love this huge feature (of which OPM probably don't have) to be night races with real time illuminating headlamps.

Playing the God Of War 3 demo using Helios' head, Sony Santa Monica have shown it's certainly possible that PD could do headlamps with low and high beam.

Thanks for the copy paste, only thing that concerns me is KY's opinion of current gamers, GT PSP is designed for smaller playing chunks (spending less time) and is fine for a portable GT game but this type of gameplay is not what I look for in a full GT game.

I'd have to agree, Jay. I would be furious at the thought of GT PSPs same 'career mode' while it might be easier to advance and easier to get money, I want something much like GT4, or dare I say, FM3?

I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. KY has said that GT PSP was thought out for where/when it would be played and hence the structure to the game.

What I think he is suggesting here, and indications from TGS builds, are that the 'world map' as we have come to know in the past GT's will be no more, and will be structured differently. More along the lines of GT5P, but expanded with License/Driving Challenge/Event modes in addition to what GT5P currently has.

I can sure understand why he's pissed off with people asking him about DLC all the time. Now maybe they'll get the point that there clearly wont be any so stop asking him.

All these interviews with the same questions and same answers is boring, leave him alone to get on with it and maybe the game will be out sooner.. duh!

I sure hope not, this is partly what I am afraid of. Although the recent demos have a "GT Mode" Icon along with the others which hopefully will take you into a world map style interface or something similar.

Yamauchi already said it will have a classic world map like all GTs.
But i have the feeling it will be more a real world map instead of a fictional one.

EDIT: Lol, shouldve read the interview on the last page first.

Can we just call this game Gt6 because of the delays and long development time? My goodness whats the point of this news about he is racing, we just want news about the game, not his life.

You always mention these delays, when was GT5 delayed exactly?

I don't think you have the right to speak for everyone.

It is just me, about the delays, march could have been okay but from the looks of it, fall launch or worse December 2010. And whats the point showing his racing life, we want the game thats all.

From the looks of what? Internet speculation? I am confused how March in Japan turned into as late as December, nine months later, for everyone else.

I am starting to see more and more people say this, but can find nothing more than speculation to back it up.
