It's actually just ghosting from the video, dave. Also worth noting that along with skidmarks and smoke, the sound in the gamescom build was new.

How it can be slow shutter speed if the screen IS bright enought?
3D most likely.Or just 2 blended frames because of different screen/camera refresh rate/frame rate etc.

I would say that it's just a screen capture from this video from the news section:

Just a bad quality screen capture from a bad quality video :lol:. And the build seems the same as the 24H LeMans/ E3, with the weed particles and better smoke, but not skidmarks and not the last and best smoke shown at GamesCom.

Because at 60fps, its entirely possible the camera caught both frames during its exposure.

Wow, old build but ain't that just lovely :D

one thing i noticed on the Lambo vid is that when you go off the car teeter toters as it drives on the grass so much that the wheels are off the ground. Looks odd

Simulated bumps. Bumps, just without the pain of making hundreds of bumps. So I guess it's just an effect they apply to the car to simulate them.

Prologue had that anyway I think, or at least the TT.

I finally see the problem with the trees but I hope I won't have time to look at them while trying to focus on my driving line.

@wajdi1977

I was about to ask what was I supposed to see, but then I noticed it (really, didn't catch that the first time, oh well), talk about a major screw up!

Replays are in 30fps.

LCD ghosting - long live CRT!!!!

Thanks!Seems like that!

There is no point in this book since I'm sure there will be making of videos on GT-TV in the future...........and the best part..........it will be free:)

Actually only the "intro" part where the cam is in replay mode using distant angles once the race officially starts time it jumps back to 60.

The book is a bit $$ but if you look at the level of detail and depth to the GOW3 and UC2 books they made, its well worth it, would make a nice little giftmas gift.

@minihulkster No , there is a point, it's for the fanatics, the die hards, and i haven't seen the GT5 CE\SE books but this publisher has produced great work in "The Art of" series.
