It wasn't exactly top-tier humour, and was of course mildly disrespectful (oh, that rogueish YouTube user!) - my biggest complaint, though, was that Kaz was clearly saying "Hybrid System" repeatedly, yet it only made the subtitles once...

Yeah. Details. It's funny; watching subtitled films is like a challenge to listen and read at the same time! :P

I agree: we are all in (desperate) need of TGS.

Have you ever watched those old, poorly english dubbed Martial Arts Movies? Its kinda like that, which is what makes it funny (at least ot me). I also still don't get how its disrespectful.

In case anyone's wondering, kaz was referring to why he's excited about adding the Honda CRZ to Gran Turismo.

He believes that the hybrid system would eventually be seen in most sports cars as the norm.

He thinks the CRZ looks spectacular. He is excited with the concept of the "hybrid sports car."

He would like to model the car's visuals with meticulous detail, as well as express its technical specifications (performance) as accurately as possible in the game. This is so people without a hybrid can experience driving one.

The car will then be able to be tuned.

He thinks the car would be terrific fun when equipped with a turbo.

Although personally i really don't like hybrid cars, i actually quite like the CR-Z and cannot wait to give it a run on the 'ring! :D

They are... In the B-Spec "unveiling", they talked about having up to 4 drivers to use in the 24H races... so I would go out on a limb to say they'd have them for A-Spec as well...

I don't know if I will play the B-Spec but I hope its included in A-Spec...haven't played the demo yet but its confirmed atleast one place in my town. Probably going this week to try it out.

We have already heard there will be weather and have seen that course editor shot with sunny weather selected. There is nothing new in the article:yuck:. Bring on TGS already:idea:.

well, I really hope that by "weather" you don't mean "day/night cycle" because that's completely different!

No, he's right. They've already confirmed dynamic weather.

This is a good example of why print magazines are a dying breed. It takes weeks to edit, print, and distribute a magazine.. by then, the news is already old to anyone who reads the internet. Especially on a place like GTP here.. news hits here almost the instant it hits the web. From anywhere.. we've got members all over the world.

No, by "weather" I mean weather. As you can see in the course editor pic above, weather and time of day are separate categories.

What a crack-up it is when a publication comes out and on the day it arrives the information in it is basically old hat to the hard core enthusiast.

The internet is slowly killing printed media. The only thing keeping it afloat are the old school people who are not technologically inclined. Once they are gone printed media will go the way this.
