cant wait for the infamous veyron...

Same here, but I was eagerly waiting for the MP412C, but at this point we still don't have any clues of it, so I dropped my hopes. :(

Yeah mine too, I remember that I had no idea what a car it was but I wanted it so bad.
I drove behind it and loved the design, but the rankings just said "Cosmo", never thought that it coule be a Mazda. :D

Doubt it will be in GT5 though.

Really hoping for the Eunos Cosmo. Was very surprised it wasn't in GT4. One of my favorite cars in GT2. :)

At least we probably have both the old Cosmo's ( 110S, the L10A and L10B versions ) from GT4 but I'll agree the Eunos Cosmo is a great car.:)

Amazon prime. Release date delivery is FREE! Well worth my $70 a year fee.

free amazon PRIME is much better. All you need is a .edu email address.
Either way, one day shipping from amazon is what, $7? I'm sure you buy lots of things to make prime a good deal but there it sounds like paying $70 for same day shipping is worth it.

According to the second-to-last double page in the French PS Magazine article scan, the Ford Focus RS, Renault Megane RS, Seat Leon Cupra, Mazda 3 MPS and that Toyota Motor Triathalon thing from GT4 will all feature in the game.

GT by Citroën Road car. Perhaps GT5 wil feature both the concept (electric engine) and the roadcar?

There only is one car which is a concept ( the plans to turn it into a production road car have been scrapped ).
That concept has an American V8, no electric power, the only version which has electric power is the digital version in GT5 Prologue ( and GT5 probably ).

I've been taking the addition of "Road Car" to mean there may be a fictional race version of it, but yes, Analog's right, there's just that one out in the real world.

(EDIT) Nevermind, there's a new video of the CbyGT in the Latest News thread and it has gears, not to mention seems slower. So maybe they gave it the concept's V8 powertrain. Wasn't it essentially the Ford GT's?

Saw that video and it appears to have gears now :confused:, maybe they indeed made the virtual version more like the real one and changed the fantasy electric Prologue drivetrain with an American V8.
Not sure which make though, think Citroën didn't disclose the manufacturer which supplied the real engine as it was basically an afterthought I guess to make that concept driveable and fast without the development costs of creating a powerful engine based on their own engines.
I for one think it will be much more fun to drive with a manual gearbox and an American V8 soundtrack.:)

I think that almost all cars of GT4 also being included in GT5, plus the new ones. Some of them not included in the initial list thread, and I can remeber was in GT4, are:

1.- Honda NSX Road Car Limited Edition;
2.- Jaguar XJR 9;
3.- Nissan R89;
4.- Nissan R92;
5.- Playstation Pescarolo; and
6.- Pescarolo Sport, among others.

My preliminar opinion is that PD included as much as possible, some Le Mans winners or cars that raced in such event, notwithstanding that some of such cars have not being seen yet in the game videos. Some other cars race in japan GT series.

Regards,

I have 2 cars to add to the list if they haven't been added yet. They are available by pre-ordering GT5 @ Gamestop.

2010 #20 Joey Logano GT5/Gamestop Toyota Camry

I also saw you could get a free stealth version of the Merc SLS if you pre-order with Amazon.

Well spotted TM, I haven't been keeping an eye on that Flickr page since E3 finished 👍

I wonder how much it's going to cost to get the signature edition? :scared:

The Shelby Cobra 427 is in, and it's premium :drool:

Damn, that signature edition is expensive, if you go by the french amazon that is. Over 2 times as much as the collectors edition!

And it is no more edition ultime, but signature edition - http://www.amazon.fr/dp/B003SNJNSG/

Also the Audi R8 V10 and possibly the BMW M3 GTS which are available with certain pre-orders for certain editions.

P.S. Writing this on an iPod so cannot provide the image but they are in page 1131 of the latest news thread.

The R8 is the V10 version. Notice the flared rear air intakes.

Am I the only one who is also realy pleased to finally see the v10 R8 in gt5, With all the demos using the V8 I was starting to worry there would be no V10 in the game.

It looks good I agree and this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Audi. Don't get me wrong though I'm still going to enjoy smoking them in my Gallardo.:)

No you're not the only one. I assumed the 5.2 V10 version was a no brainer but started getting second thoughts as may new gameshow demos turned up with late model cars but the 4.2 V8 kept re-occuring, it was a nice suprise to see the V10 made it.
