GT5 Master Car List

Blimey, don't people ever like to whine? 1031 cars and still people aren't happy. "Wahhh, my favorite car isn't included", "wahhh, my favourite car is included but it's only a standard". Let's do some maths... I reckon if there were another four thousand vehicles, or varieties of, that might just be enough to shut people up, but only apparently if they were all premiums. So, 5000 premiums, 6 months to model each one at a conservative cost estimate of £20k per car and we arrive at the figure of £100,000,000. That folks, is why your old 1984 Fiat Strada Abarth 130tc mk2 (or whatever) does not appear in the list. Get a grip.

Wow, what an ignorant way to look at things.
It's not always about having your car in, there are some basic cars which should be in/Premium. Take the Veyron; I don't like it, but it's the fastest one in the world. And there are so many cars missing from this list that I might as well go to Forza until PD come up with something decent. 800 of those cars are standard. Look at it this way. 200 odd cars are (nearly) new; Forza offers 500 odd cars which are (nearly) new, with some decent modern cars as well. GT5 however, is still in the past when it comes to new cars. No new Hyundai, no Kia (reasonably priced car), no new Volvos (bar one), no new Citroens, Vaxuhalls/Opels, no new Seats, no Skodas.. Need I continue? Oh yeah, no new VWs.

Oh not the We Love Cars thing again. Were'nt most of those brought along by the general public from a website campaign or something? That's the impression I got anyway.

Except that we aren't asking for a 1984 Fiat Strada Abarth. "Get a grip".

He meant to name a car that almost no one knows.

I don't think we're asking much. 80% of the cars are from pre 2005. We're in 2010. The criticism is valid.

I know,I wasn't having a go man,I actualli agree with you I just like the car that was mentioned.:dopey:

The point is that for almost of us it's not important how many cars are in GT5, but which kind; 1031 cars? do you mind you'll drive all of them, every single version of the same model? well, good luck, enjoy it; i don't drive any kind of Acura when we have Honda; nor Autobianchi (i owned one of it and i loved so much, but not in GT), bmw 120d, Chrisler PT, Citroen 2cv, no one daihatsu... i can go on till the end of the list such a way; i say again: really interesting cars are not more of 300-400 (about, i hadn't counted one by one, but i think it's near the reality), so developing other one or two hundred, they had a lot of time in this past 6 years, was not only possible but damn right; i conclude in the really certainty that the game will be awesome and i will play it really a lot and for a lot of time, but i add that for a game that name itself "the best drive of your life" they have to do more efforts to satisfy and meet our driving desires. Mirko.

latest panda isn't in the game too...
There is lots of "confirmed" cars missing :odd:

I loved how people spent hours gleaning though the I love car commercial with the toy cars and real cars thinking they're confirmations. PD didn't direct them, they just picked out cars that might be in the game and omitted obvious brands that wouldn't be in (aka porsches)

gj guys, your hard work is valued!

I love car? 'We Love Cars' And actually, there were a few cars that were in there that are in GT5.. and I guessed one of them :)

Mitusbishi i-MiEV ;) No lie, check the list :D

With all those cars they've used, they're bound to guess several of them right. My point earlier is that the commercial isn't a solid list of cars that'll appear in GT5.

I hope that the standards physics system works as good as the premium ones, if not there will be 800 less cars for me in GT5....

btw ok gt5 will be the game with the longest car list ever...but lacks of quality IMHO, there are lots of cars that I was sure was in but no one is....

I still don't know if I'm gonna buy it tbh... checking the list I have only 300 cars I'd like to drive, the rest isn't so attractive for a real car lover like me.... it's a shame, I loved every GT since the 1st one but there are competitors that have a better taste in chhosing what cars to include nowdays...

Dear "car lover",

if you like all GTs since the first why you're now complaining about GT5's carlist, that has every car from 4 plus approximately 300 more? That doesn't make sense at all.

With you being italian and the way you argue I'd say you never really played GT and your "love" narrows down to Ferrari, Lamborghini and maybe Bugatti.

Name a racing simulation that has more than your mentioned 300 cars you like, and don't give me that semi-"simulation" Forza.
Because I know you won't answer that question because it's not possible, let me help you:

Don't buy GT and buy NfS instead, there you go with ~70 supercars. Enjoy it. I'm sure you'll do.

What 4 cars are not in? I know the model t and benz motorwagon arent in.

No it's not! Damn I can't tell you how I waited to race IN a GT-one at LeMans...( And WIN actualy ;) )

That one is way better. :P

Love this Peugeot Prototype. :D

High pressure direct injection, Diesel Power! :)

What's wrong? Your not a diesel kind of guy aren't ya?

Even Audi R10 TDI is a diesel. :)

Haha,No sir I am not..and don't even get me started on Audi..

You would however see me in the lower class driving a Corvette C5/6R though.:)
I also like the Minolta and Mazda 787B.👍
