GT5 Master Car List

TBH, I would preefer a Premium EB10 instead a Veyron, it´s more charismatic IMO. But, yes, it´s very strange that one of the ultimate cars built ever are not fully recreated.
 
Standard cars have a less detailed view of the cockpit.
Premium cars have a fully detailed view of the cockpit.

EDIT: MY BAD, I guess they don't.

Well, there's a lot of cool cars there and everybody should be able to find something to drive, but as somebody else said it's weird that a lot of the more classic enthusiasts cars are missing. Obviously the BMW e30 and e36, but also the Peugeot 205 gti. Instead they opted for a 207 gti?!?

I'm disappointed that my favourite neo-classic car isn't there from the start, and can only hope that it'll be downloadable...
 
Does the Fat Lady really need to be premium? I mean, it's just a Bentley Continental on a W16, 1000 diet. I mean, you'll still get to see it's exterior in all it's ugly glory, and it having an interior wouldn't change much, would it? And besides, there were a couple cars that were listed incorrectly on that list already, so the Bugatti could be a premium, we'll know when someone unlocks it.

Doubt the bugatti is a typo on the official list, especially since they fixed the f40. Standard cars will have working wipers won't they? They don't have cockpit view so I just got wondering.
 
Well...since some cars in GT4 have wipers that vibrated at high speeds, I would guess Standard car wipers will work. Especially since it'd look weird to have half the field with wipers on and half with them off.

If the reason were "we have to go beyond 1000", what about Ford Model-T, Daihatsu Midget "3 wheeler" and other GT4 slashed cars? Sure they add variety.

Sure it's quite impossibile to be bored with >800 cars... but all that noise around the 1000.

👎 they added to much JapaneseANESE cars... another time, they said that all GT4 cars will be added to GT5, too few new compact euro cars (Mito, Abarth..), too few cars for the last years (game is very focused in the GT4 years - i.e. )

I just read the Gran Turismo website and just read that only Premium have the cockpit view. WOW, THAT'S DISAPPOINTING!

EDIT: Cars on Prologue that would be standard on GT5 have the cockpit view, so I guess that got me thinking that...

EDIT 2: Haha, don't pay much attention to the updates... Just waiting for this god damn game to come out.

And please go check the premium car list most of the new cars are european! 11 new ferrari's, 4 new Lambo's, its just to stupid for words what some people say on this forum!
 
So does anyone have any SOLID info on exactly how much NEW content is in this game?

I'm not here to insight any firestarters or anything along those lines..

But from everything i've read and everything i've seen, i'd say a good 70-80% of this game, is based off of information/designs/models etc etc they've had from previous installments of the game..

Is there any information anywhere to refute that? or is this really 70-80 GT3+GT4 "ported" and some track/weather features and more cars i'll never drive?

I'm just curious as to what was actually CREATED in the past 6 years, asside from the "200 cars that took 6 months to model, EACH" Of which i also think is a load of crap considering the hands on stuff does alot of the work for you in modeling the car, unless of course they're talking also factoring in time it took for the studio to get their hands on these cars for "x" amount of time..

Any car that was in GTPSP that has a premium model in GT5 is P/S in the car list. Not sure why they'd make a premium and standard model for each of these cars, but perhaps it has something to do with transferring your PSP cars to arcade mode. Therefore you can only drive standard models if you transfer over from PSP. In order to use the premium models you have to get them first in GT5. That's the only reason I can think of really. Quite strange, but it does make some sense I suppose, to encourage people to unlock the premium models to experience these vehicles in their full glory.
 
Actually, there is a "Portable Garage" option in Arcade mode, and I'm sure ALL the cars there will be standard, but in the GT5's career mode, some of those cars will be premium like the Enzo.
 
Very dissapointed with the lack Of Ruf's in the game, all the RUFS have already been in the game previously. There isn't any great modern RUFS there, not to mention they are all standard.
 
a few supras missing from the list ..

on the official list on the gt site i wouldnt be surprised if there were more cars
because on the tracklist el capitain isnt on the list which some one claim to have seen in a demo so that could mean there are more trackss and cars..
 
Another car that I´ll miss a interior view is the Tom´s Chaser Jzx, my fav drift car in GT4, but I´m quite curious to hear how an single-turbo 1jz engine sound in GT5 :P

GT is about normal every day cars and JDM car, and in GT5 PD has added to much super cars if you ask me. And people still complain, it will never be enough for some people.

are you serious mate? are you happy with those 29012788342983279 japanese cars with even owners' cant spot the differences between them? so i understand you don't want zonda f or cinque, lambo superlaggera, ariel atom v8, merc black series', bmw m6, m3 gts (the new one), aston dbs, one 77, ferrari 599 gto, any porsches? really mate? they didint even add new rufs!!! and they dont even put competitors in the game, i mean they put 908 hdi but they dont put aston lmp1, audi r15 or r15 plus, yes we get audi r10 which is 7 years old now!!! i really was expecting acura/hpd lmp1 racers but there arent any... i really want to know who cares about the old mazda or toyota le mans cars? i dont even care about the old audi r8 race car... we need to get the new cars.. someone wrote after he saw the list "after all of this waiting... so that must be a hell of a physics engine" which i agree completely...

and i'm really sick of the legal issues about getting cars.. i mean how hard can it be? what are they can possibly want pd cant give? seriously?

i believe we should say to the kaz guy: "lets face it dude, we need gt's physics with forza's update frequincy.."

at least i believe we deserve it!

ps. i dont have xbox 360 and i dont have forza 3 :)

Ah, that makes sense. I didn't realize the Enzo was in GTPSP and I knew it wasn't in GT5P so I was still a bit confused. I bet they just don't want people going right into a $1m premium car.
 
I'm really hoping the DLC is for free, and has some of the cars that are requested by fans and proper cars that have been icons for different manufacturers.
