GT5 Master Car List

Yeah, always a good excuse. "We didn't have time". 3 years down the road when they release the first DLC pack of six cars we'll see how well that goes over.

Um.. the reason they did not have time, is because the 2009 season they had the NSX, while suddenly they had to get a new car,if they were to continue racing in the league. The HSV came in not long ago, and it's understandable that they have had more important stuff to get done before shipping went out, other than make One car, while the rest of the grid is alread done and tested.

Im in no hurry. I've got 1000+ cars to buy and play with. Im sure I can wait for the HSV, even though I am a hardcore JGTC fan, and even more so a Honda fan. The EK and S2K, yet alone all the NSX's should have my fancy a few months,at least. :sly:

In due time,hopefully some DLC will be out. Though, I would rather have them sue their resources on the way to GT6.
 
There is no current generation Toyota Camry? Not even a 2010 SE model?

Someone at SEMA I believe, made a Camry NE (NASCAR Edition) with a V8 in it ;). Make one AWD and I'll buy it!
 
Average Prologue car model took about 6 months, each. Though, seeing that race liveries was handed out a bit later than December, if im not terrible wrong ( I might be, a while ago.. ) and the fact that Pro. ain't as detailed ( or so they say ) compared to GT5, it is reasonable to conclude that they did not have the time. As said, More important priorities im sure took up the work force for the final straight of the game development. :)
 
It's taking an awful long time to get this list done... isn't this the biggest GT forum on the internet? And we still don't even have all the cars posted? I don't mean to complain, it's just that this is the first place I look, then I notice cars are missing and I end up Googling a list instead.

Getting the list done? It should be done many times over by now. I've posted a quick premium only list a few pages back, and im sure the first page will be updated accordingly in due time. As well as news have been on it for quite a while.

Unless PD is constantly updating their site list, I don't quite see what the problem is?
 
I appreciate you making this thread with all the cars, and the image linking, but I have to say it, most of the pictures are crap. I know they're probably the best you could find, but I'm just saying.

No, actually, it's not. The front end is too tall to be the RS6 Avant. The RS6 is shorter than that. It looks more like the RS4.

It's definitely an RS6 Avant.

For comparison purposes: the RS6 has the LED "underbrows" and the cut line for the hood between the grille and lights is horizontal. An RS4's is cut on an angle, and the bottom edge of the lights isn't flat:

Considering most are having to be grabbed from leaked videos, it's kind of all that we've got for now.

I just meant that the list on the first page is still missing cars. I know it takes longer to get images sorted out and whatnot, but we could at least have the cars there while that gets worked on.
 
negative: yeah, alot of newish performance cars missing like Focus RS, Superleggera, new type r hatch etc.

positive: a huge list of cars with all new physics - on 'professional' settings on GTP arranged track days, this is gonna be epic - imagine it!

PS: Loving the fact that my most wanted wish has come true - 97' Civic Type R (EK) is a premium:sly:
 
Question:

On the official car list it is mentioned both McLaren F1 and the McLaren MP4-12C. Isn't the downloadable Stealth version of the F1 similar/the same as the McLaren F1 GTR/LM?
 
What happened to the normal 370z in the Time Trial? That was as Premium as you can get...???

i checked the list and i bet they wrong to write, there are 2 350z that are the same.
i don't understand however why the 350z is standard, i hope they wrong also here..

Yes I know, but that is the specific race version with the FINA livery, and it's a standard model. This is stealth one downloadable in you of the special editions/preorder thing. I doubt those would be standard cars.
 
Well we dont have the fastest road car ever Veyron as premium. We dont have the iconic Countach as premium. We dont have the Lamborghini Reventon the most expensive and powerfull Lamborghini ever. And we dont have the Honda HSV. It is dissapointing but we have the fastest racing car ever, the X1(compared to this, the veyron will look like a Kubalwagen when they compete head to head), driven and tested in the simulator by newly crowned F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel. That will do for now even if it is just a fantasy car.

It's got a similar rear wing as the LM, but that's about the extent of it. The LM has a different nose (lower portion of), wheels, side skirts and extended front wheel arches. It's a shame PD couldn't be bothered to model the LM as well. Perhaps we'll see it as DLC at some point?
 
I just don't wont to believe that the official car list is complete. there is only 2 Australian Holden's. Not happy, Holden created so many brilliant old muscle cars and they were all on a list i was looking at a year ago. What's going on PD i don't know what too believe anymore. bring on the XU-1 and Hg Monaro I say :)
