A maximum length of 10 Km would be just enough for circuits, but for point-to-point track, it would not be enough in most cases, in my opinion.

We'll see in the final build. For now, there are no confirmed details, anything could change.

The elevation I believe is NOT adjustable and depends on the Topography of the actual theme, in the case of Toscana thers alot of rolling hills, maybe others have steep elevation and others have little to no elevation.

The banking angle however has been confirmed.

@Shirakawa Akira : 10km point to point with many tight corners can take 6-7 minutes to get through , the Ring is about 20km and the average speed is something like 150km\h ,faster than Rally Finland.

Now picture ONE rally say "Rally Toscana" being made up of 10-12(about 45-60 minutes total) stages, and a season being 4-5 rallies. We're looking at a good 5 hours of driving to complete a season, not bad.

Especially when compared to GT4's format.

ITs no RBR but then again it has much more than 6 cars and 6 locations.👍

Im so eager to see what it turns out to be.

I've seen that mentioned somewhere before, one track is Trial Mountain I think, can't remember the rest.

Edit: Tahiti maze?
Edit 2: Ok that looks like pretty much all the GT4 tracks. What are they trying to tell us? 💡

That's all I can get from it, nothing new in there.

I guess that's another clue (or source for my list, at least) for the inclusion of GT4 tracks in GT5.
However, then the total number would turn out to be about 70 unique tracks + variations, not 70 total track variations as reported in the last few days.

Yea, here is the list that put together awhile back.

1. Trial Mountain
2. Tahiti Maze
3. Seoul Central
4. Seattle Circuit
5. Opera Paris
6. Chamonix
7. New York
8. Midfield
9. Motorland
10. Ice Arena
11. Hong Kong
12. Grand Valley Speedway
13. Grand Canyon
14. Fuji Speedway 90's

Along the same lines, since it's speculated that the GTPSP opening movie is made with the GT5 graphics engine and tracks, has anybody already identified in sequence the tracks appearing on it?

I don't think any of the information about the amount of tracks is spot on. At this stage I'm not even sure Kaz himself knows what the final number is.

I have before, but I cannot seem to find the list I made. :ouch:

I'll keep looking though.

Edit: I cannot find where I put it. I guess it could be my imagination, though.

I don't think anyone confirmed 100 tracks. Over 70 tracks with variations is what we've heard of so far. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Edit: Ninja-ed my own posts. =D

I doubt wrc cars are able to get an average speed of 150km/h at the ring.
Markus Grönholm made the record to Ouninpohja ss and he had the pedal to the metal 97% of the time and the average speed was something like 167 km/h.

If that is true, then there's no way that GT5 will have only 70 total track variations.
I remember too that "GT5 will have all GTPSP tracks and cars" however I can't find a source for that.

I doubt that but it's also true that we haven't seen everything, or final screens.
The first mock-ups for example had an option to select whether the track should be a closed loop circuit or point-to-point, which disappeared on later ones.

A maximum length of 10 Km would be just enough for circuits, but for point-to-point track, it would not be enough in most cases, in my opinion.

We'll see in the final build. For now, there are no confirmed details, anything could change.

I remember the early screens-I did an guesstimate as to what the Course Maker could do (video here) I am hoping features like weather and time will still be there in final build along with point to point and closed loop options.

This Midfield screenshot from PSP intro... Seems GT4-like, doesn't it?

Really? Where did he say that? That would be awesome :D

Well not quote for quote, but a French mag went to PD a while back, and they said all GT4 tracks to be in GT5.
Everything else they said has turned out to be true, well before anyone had the info.

They mentioned Indy, changing weather in a race, damage etc years back.

Unfortunately Indy turned out not to be true. So although my hopes are high for all GT4 tracks, I wouldn't count on it 100% just because of this Magazine.

In my opinion though I think it it extremely likely we will see all GT4 tracks in GT5.

I think there was a misunderstanding, when Kaz said Indy, he meant the track, not the cars. In the next issue, the magazine issued a retraction and apology.

What????
We had a time trial on Indy for GT Academy! Even the Best Buy demos have Indy on it....
