What do you mean? They drive the whole GP track in the 24h version (unlike in the VLN series, where they only drive the sprint version of the GP track).
No, it's a slightly shortened version which cuts off the Mercedes Arena and uses the slightly shorter and faster motorcycle chicane. The race is this weekend so I'll tell you if I'm wrong. Not that I expect to be, the current layout has been used for over half a decade. It's the GP track but not as they used it for the German Grand Prix.

I'll update my track images list today
As I've said a few weeks ago, just use the forum instead of that gigantic image.

I think New York is pretty much confirmed with that picture of Vette:

Source?

EDIT: It's a GTPSP promo shot apparently.

The GTPSP promotional videos and shots were not done in the GT5 graphics engine. They were done in the GTPSP engine but rendered at a much higher rate, apparently.

I've made another list.
This time I have performed several variation counts.

- Total is for all tracks, including totally unconfirmed ones.
- Confirmed is the count for all variations of confirmed courses only (seen in screenshots)
- Conf+Reverse is as above, but includes the reverse version of each original track (please also note that there are about 18 confirmed tracks so far, so it would be impossible to obtain 70 variations with only 20 tracks or so as recently speculated).
- Conf+PSP+GT4 is the count for all tracks, including those from GT PSP and GT4, but excluding unconfirmed ones and the reverse version of original tracks.

You are right with that, but they also drive the Dunlop Kehre in the 24h race.

So La Sarthe motogp track probbable will be also in GT5... Sorry for english :)
No such thing. It's the Bugatti circuit you mean. None of that circuit has been shown that isn't part of the Circuit de la Sarthe and I'm not even sure thos sections have been shown yet. Circuit de la Sarthe is confirmed and should be available with and without chicanes. The Bugatti circuit and Maison Blanche circuit which both use a portion of the permanent sections of the Circuit de la Sarthe are as of yet unconfirmed by writing or images. I hope they will both be included but nothing is known.

You're right in saying nothing is confirmed so far, although after the Nurburgring demo which confirmed the GP track will be included and their confirmed presence a Le Mans it might raise expectations for the Bugatti-circuit ( which is known to most perhaps as the MotoGP-version ) as well as Maison Blanche to be included as well.
It would certainly make clear the whole 20 locations and 70 variations mystery somewhat.
But again, as you rightly pointed out, nothing is certain or confirmed yet and raising your expectations for anything which is at this point speculative only can lead to dissapointment.:)

100% correct. 👍
Let's see what next month will bring us though, it would be cool, the Bugatti Raceway is a nice track.

Tuscany is not confirmed... we have not seen any gameplay footage, only trailers. It's in the 'maybe' pile.

Maybe you could do something similar to the Master car list and change the colours if they've been officially confirmed, seen in trailers or seen in gameplay.

Sorry- this has probably been asked but I can't find it:

I know it seems obvious that we would have the Indy oval since the infield road course is in the game, but has racing on the oval been confirmed or shown anywhere yet?

Not yet, we've only seen the infield part. But with the inclusion of Nascar, it would be kinda stupid not to have the oval considering they modelled the infield...

Tuscany is not confirmed... we have not seen any gameplay footage
Does it really make a difference?
We've seen Tuscany in:
1) E3 trailer (rally stage/San Gimignano plaza)
2) Gamescom/TGS build (San Gimignano plaza in the main menu)
3) 458 Italia tribute (inside of San Galgano abbey/road track)
4) AGS trailer (rally stage/San Gimignano plaza)
5) Night trailer (458 Italia on road track)

Exactley, the track/s might not be called Tuscany but besides what the track/s are called it's confirmed.

I hear that Codemasters has exclusive right to Bathurst until 2011.... so we won't see it in GT5 as a surprise unfortunately

I found this of interest. On one of the new Nurburgring demos on the menu screen, it's listed as "Real Circuit / Germany". I don't remember GT ever listing countries next to track names before. I wonder what relevance this has to the locations/variations thing. We'll find out soon enough I guess :)

I noticed that too buddy, seems like that Fictional Tracks is just one location, so we might (or might not) be getting more tracks than we thought at first. :D

Yup If you look at the new track list all the fictoinal tracks are name GT So i am thinking the same way that the fictional tracks will be one location label GT. I like the way he put his list togeather. 👍

so, whit GT as location there are 19 other locations (=country?)

that would be awsome. because i like alot of tracks instead of cars.

so we have already

GT
Germany
United States
Japan
United Kingdom
France

From my previously posted list it would be:

Belgium
China
France
Germany
GT
Italy
Japan
Korea
Monaco
Portugal
Spain
Switzerland
United Kingdom
USA

14 locations/countries.
15 if you count Tahiti (French territory)
Of course, this is including unconfirmed (but probably included) tracks not seen in videos/screenshots.

at GT5P, on the main menu, there is a worldmap. whit about 19 country's...so maybe... + GT = 20. there are also alot of city where a race track is located. like Le Mans, Nurburg, Estoril, Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder, Silverstone, ... maybe that are the location + the tracks.
