at GT5P, on the main menu, there is a worldmap. whit about 19 country's...so maybe... + GT = 20. there are also alot of city where a race track is located. like Le Mans, Nurburg, Estoril, Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder, Silverstone, ... maybe that are the location + the tracks.

I have never seen that personally as I don't have GT5P. Could you post a screenshot?
Never mind, I found some ones.

pauze on 00:04. above you se sort of world map. when you have the game u will see points on that map whit city's. on the right on the map you which wheater the locations have on 00:04 its night becaus it has a moon whit a cloud and it is 4°C. it constantly change from place to place en let you know what for weather it is at each locations.

is this the dynamic-weather-location thing?

Ok, after a bit of research I found all the weather locations of GT5P (other people have already done this in the past years anyway, from what I've seen).

In blue are the weather locations pretty much (>99.9%) confirmed for GT5.
In red are the weather locations included in GTPSP but not confirmed for GT5 (although they probably will be included).
In gray are the weather locations of which we haven't seen any screenshot or any slight hint for their inclusion (except for their appearance in the GT5P weather location screen).

Again, this isn't news. It's just for people which missed this (like me).

I personally think all of those will be in. Not to mention all of the tracks that are shown in the GT5P credits. I was bored the other night and listed them all in One Note. Yes, very bored.

Trial Mountain
Tahiti Maze
Seoul Central
Seattle Circuit
Opera Paris
Chamonix
New York
Midfield Raceway
Motorland
Ice Arena
Hong Kong
Grand Valley Speedway
Grand Canyon
Fuji Speedway 90's
Deep Forest Raceway
Citta di Aria
Apricot Hill Raceway
El Capitan
George V Paris
Costa di Amalfi
Autumn Ring

If we get all of those and the weather locations....

But, once again, who really knows?

Thanks for digging out those.
I reformatted my track list by putting proper circuit names and adding the "unconfirmed" ones which were missing. By the way, I can sort it in different ways if required:

Most of the tracks in the GT5P credits were in GTPSP, except for Hong Kong and George V Paris which were in GT4.

im no smarter thank the next guy. but would all this NASCAR and WRC licensing mean a full roster of tracks? if im right i think i may have found a use for those infamous "3 discs of GT5." one for real tracks, one for licensed tracks, and one for fantasy tracks that PD have created. it could explain how there are different damage engines for licensed and road cars, different engine on each disc? anyway im just thinking too far ahead, hopefully E3 will bring the news ive been waiting 5 years for.

No, Yamauchi already said Nascar that won't have all tracks/events.

No, GT5 will ship in one disc.

Would you feel like changing disc every time?...

Yes indeed, it's too much and unnecessary.

p.s. Please do something for your ponctuation and capital letters.
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

Sorry to bring this up, but the worst thing you can do when telling somebody to brush up on their punctuation and use of capital letters is make mistakes yourself. "p.s." should always be written as "PS" or "P.S." because it is an acronym, short for "Post Scriptum". You also have a typo in "punctuation".

Rather than risk making a fool out of yourself, just report the post and leave it to the mods!

On track (no pun intended), I agree, the game itself will surely ship on one disc, that is pretty much a given. However, there could be a Limited Edition version with additional bonus media (making of video etc.) on a second disc.

lulz

Carry on.

I was watching the second DTM race of the season this afternoon,
which took place in Valenca.
I was suddenly wondering...
Wouldn't it be logical to have the circuit included in GT5?
As it was introduced in gt psp?
It isn't a track with a lot surroundings to model so,
normally it wouldn't take as much effort as other tracks i suppose.

Yes, tuscany;;

You guys are probably right. But my first instinct when I originally saw that was Thunderhill in California.

Does Thunderhill have hayfields and bales of hay stacked around it?

It's Tuscany, it fits that scene in the 468 video perfectly.

Please re-read what I wrote. You sound like your trying to argue with me for some reason.

That one everyone keeps saying is Tuscany has gotten me very intrigued. Is there some kind of public road or point-to-point rally track there or something? Looks exciting. Can't wait to tear around that in a Ferrari.

What really has me intrigued is that there is no guardrails. Maybe running off of the track and rolling the car in the field? :)

About Tuscany, if it is a public road, shouldn't it have a centerline? I know there are roads without centerline, but they're usually pretty small, this road looks very wide. That blind hill where the Ferrari disappears looks also a bit too dangerous not to have a centerline. On the other hand, if it is a racetrack the tarmac should have some tyre marks, especially in that corner. And if it is a racetrack, why aren't there any barriers or curbs?

Another thing I noticed is that the Ferrari is driving on the left side of the road, so if it is a public road that suggests either Malta or Cyprus. Ireland is too green and UK doesn't have that nice weather ;) It could be outside of Europe as well, maybe Australia?
