GT5 Master Track List (NOT a wishlist)

If they're using Canada as one of their locations I think the Banff area of Alberta and/or the B.C. rockies would be a good idea. Also, there's a road in British Columbia that was recommended, I dunno what it's called. :(

Mosport just outside of Toronto has to on the list. It's a former F1 track and still being used today. For example this coming weekend, the American Le Mans series is heading there. This is not to be confused with what was formerly known as the Molson Indy (or is it still) which is held in Toronto on a street circuit (not an actual street but on an exhibition/park ground).

There's even speculation that an F1 track might end up in Niagara Falls, Canada. Although personally I can't see why. It's a pretty depressed area and not close enough to any major centre (2 hours from Toronto). Here's the story: http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns21361.html

There wasn't mention of Zolder in the "unintentionally leaked" list, or at least, it couldn't possibly have been there as basing on the ordering of japanese characters it should have been visible on the screenshot. This still doesn't mean that it won't be in GT5, though, just lowers the possibility.

Following the same logic, all real western tracks that begin by the following sounds and are not in the list are also excluded:

a-/i-/u-/e-/o-; k-/g-; s-/sh-/z-; t-/d-; n-; h-/p-; ba-/va- (but not b-/v- + i/u/e/o)

Maybe it's kind of complicated for those who don't understand some japanese, though.

Yeah, I'm breaking the rule of my own thread (I'd like to see some friggin' internet Nazi cry about it) but that news story on the front with Spa has gotten me uber-excited for the game all over again. I'm dying to race a more modern Pikes Peak. I went there for the hill climb this year and raced a Corolla GT-S through some twisties (not on the actual PP Highway, which was epic, but a stretch before the starting line). Time of my life, I tell you. Returned home, played Dirt with its older, less paved layout, and it confused me until I finally realised when I had hit Devil's Playground. I've heard rumors that this year was the last that would contain any dirt sections...

Yeah, that's Tajima down there!

That will appear in GT5 i dont have the confirmation but if you see that imagine with the names in chinese and translate names you see the name valencia there

It would be nice if they did the street circuit too, or any street circuit besides Monaco that's a real functioning course.

Maybe we could see Singapore?

Why'd they do the urban circuit too? I wouldn't want it either. Nothing special about it. Singapore would be welcome though but that's another thread.

Uh, what?

And why Chinese?

I think the only city courses they will put its the ones that we allready know:

Circuito de Madrid
London Short Forward & Reverse, and Long
Piazza del Campo
Rome
Route 5 [fictional]
Tokyo Route 246

and i think they will put:

Monaco because its Monaco, they cant fail to put this track
New York it will enter too, i beleive
Opera Paris i think it will enter because enter only in GT4 soo i think it will be there
Seatle because its a classic track
Seoul too
Special route 11 (fictional) i seriosly believe they will put :D
Clublam Stage route 5 (fictional) will not enter, i think but no
George V Paris i think too that will not enter
Hong Kong i beleive that will not enter
Singapure i dont think so

and probably for rally (but with very doubts):
Citta di Aria
Costa di Amalfi

Oh man, that reminds me. The highway roads especially in Southern Quebec on the way to Montreal (and in the city) are just horrible. I went to the Canadian GP in June and it was just ridiculous once I got inside Quebec. I don't remember the regular roads in the city though since I haven't driven there (other than highway) in two years.

Roads in Quebec usually get fixed just before the next provincial election :sly::lol::lol:

Please let Mugello, Monaco, Suzuka and Valencia be in the game.

Two of those, Monaco and Suzuka, are almost a certainty. The other two I'm desperately hoping for those. Just brilliant tracks next to the Nurburgring.

Dont get any hopes for the mugello track

valencia will definitly be in there but i have a feeling by the time gt5 finnaly does come out it will include more real life tracks than we expect.

I have seen the Audi R8 LMS (the black standard car) spin out on the 1st corner of Valencia.

I don't think that is PSP as it's not pixelated enough.

Whats the point in rendering a a PSP game in HD when it is impossible to play it like that.

Owell. I love the track selection that is in so far so no complaining from me. 👍

The same reason they did it in GT1 and GT2; for an opening video.

i think the track selection that`s been confirmed so far is good. Anyone know if Sonoma (Infineon Raceway) will continue from GT4? i assume it will, cuz it`s being used in Nascar Sprint cup.

Hasn't been confirmed, but from this screen grab their thinking about it.

I expect all real world circuits from GT4 to return. I see no point in dropping them. Certainly not for "the real driving simulator".
