GT5 Pre-Order Bonuses?

I'm just putting it out there, but anyone who
is Pre-Ordering through EBGames NZ, what kind of
Stealth car are we getting?:confused:

I was told by an EB employee at Armageddon that we actually get (besides the stealth cars) 3 cars exclusive to New Zealand. And that there's even people in America pre-ordering NZ GT5 so they can have those 3 cars. No idea on what they are though.
 
I want to get the 787B stealth car but I live in the U.S were it seems it won't be available. Is anyone from Europe willing to trade the 787B stealth car for any of the pre-order bonuses available in the U.S? I still have yet to pre-order Gran Turismo 5 so I am willing to get any of the following bonuses you desire.

Walmart: Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model

Best Buy: Nissan GT-R GT500 Race Car Stealth Model

Gamestop: McLaren F1 Stealth Model and Joey Logano's #20 Gamestop NASCAR

Amazon: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth Model

doesn't PSN have different servers for different regions? as in a USA code won't work in Europe?

Depending how trading work's i'll end up trading the gamestop pre-order for the bestbuy one to match the model with the CE

I am not sure if the codes are region dependent. Being how the PS3 is region free I believe the codes should be as well. I still am not sure how the stealth cars are going to be redeemed so we will have to wait and see.
 
Cancelled my SE pre-order. It IS very expensive and I will probably leaf through the book only once. The DLC cars are not that important to me, since there are so many cars in the game already.

Going for the regular edition now:tup:
 
come on now at least get the CE it's a nice meeting ground and for $100 you still get the 5 car's, book and model (Skyline (i hate calling it a GT-R) instead or a sls amg)

and I'm glad there are no stickers in CE
Personally i don't want PD to become apple (buy a $300 item and get 2 stickers)

Hey guys, could someone who knows tell me what you get when you buy Signature Edition?, pre-ordered mine for 69e, tought it was bargain...????

Haha, I bet hundreds, if not thousands of people will be cancelling their SE as it comes to crunch time. It's all very easy when you are hyped about the game and don't have to lay any money down for your SE pre-order, but when it comes to payment, the truth hits, and hurts.
 
I was about to re-order the CE from amazon but noticed they no longer show the SLS as a bonus for the CE so I ordered the standard version for $40.

180e in Europe!?!, and i got mine for 70e!? the shop thought that Signature edition is Collectors edition? is it possible that it was just bargain? please reply!
 
Since no one has responded about a possible trade for the 787B stealth car I have decided I will go to Best Buy and pre-order it today. The offer still stands but now I will be only be able to trade the Nissan GT-R GT500 Race Car Stealth.

Some people simply want a driving/racing sim and not a video game. If someone doesnt have the time and skill it takes to earn the faster cars you could argue that maybe they dont deserve to drive them but then they arent getting what they paid for.

i'd say that you pay fro a GAME. not just a car simulator. so basicly if you dont wanna play the game ect. then you should have bought another game, OR play an older version of gt

Because of the incompetence of Student Finance i've had to cancel my pre-order. How long does it take to look at a birth certificate, go "yep, this checks out", click a button and put the money through? More than six weeks apparently.

It's for the PAL Collector's edition. I really do hope that i'll be able to get my hands on one after release, otherwise i'm going to be pretty annoyed.
 
Amazon question guys,It says free trail of Amazon prime .I never rreally though about it till now but does that mean they will ship me the game the first day it's released with no extra charges?
 
uhhh why was my collectors edition canceled from gamestop and why is it not available there anymore? :( :( :(

Edit: NM apparently it's still active and they took it off the site cuz they're out. Good thing I preordered months ago!

No, you'll get the game on the 30th with free shipping or 29th with day shipping, they'll ship it on the 24th. If they shipped it on the 23rd, like the prima guide, you would get it on the 24th.

Yeah. I canceled my CE a few minutes ago and it still had the SLS amg and same day delivery. After I canceled I went to look at the game again and same day delivery is gone and the SLS is only available for the standard edition.
 
I've just pre-ordered the CE from Amazon. It's £59.99, but I think its worth it after all the wait. I've also ordered another car game, but that's not for here! :D
 
Also, does anyone know what you get in terms of DLC for pre-ordering with Best Buy Canada vs. GameStop Canada? We know GameStop offers the same in Canada as the U.S. for DLC, but I haven't read anything about Best Buy Canada.
 
Im surprised by some of these US store bonuses. I'm getting mine from MightyApe which is a NZ online store, and the pre-order bonus for the CE is exclusive GT5 Key Ring and 3 exclusive GT5 stealth cars (Honda NSX GT500, Mazda 787B and McLaren F1). Which seem surprisingly good.

@Majarvis: I think its for use in on-line and arcade only.
