Having watched the intros to the previous GT games in the past, its very possible we're just getting more dubbed video,

With that said, the cars do sound like they could be in-game, if PD wanted to wow people with the sound in that vid they could have done more,

The sound changes/additions in that video are not the kind to be noticed by the average gamer, so maybe its a sign to cling on to:)

The tire squeal sounded more than a bit dubbed though.

If it is a sign of the sounds to come, then we may be in for a aural treat when GT finally hits home.

What's the point of false advertising? I know they delayed it, but that was because of other problems.
I myself am hoping for sounds like these.. why put these sounds in a video when the final won't have the same result.. (once again, taking into consideration the delay)

Besides (Regarding cockpit view) if they managed to make proper sounds for that scene, why wouldn't they be able to input that into the rest of the cars...

.... This makes me think it's not a fake ....

Really? you don't see it? remember GT PSP fake commercials? all the drooling about these "wonderful graphics" just IMPOSSIBLE for any common sensed PSP owners knowing the specs of their console?

PD are known to show ENHANCED trailers for commercial purpose and to increase the WOW factor... so, hold your horse concerning these sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if they were dubbed to once again deceit the audience with an enhanced but FAKED experience: GT5 graphic engine, yes, but processed on higher computer with all the bells and whistles (no distance LOD, AAx8, dubbed sounds, etc...).

Agreed, the in-car Super GT audio from that video is pretty eff'n amazing. Hopefully this is not a dub, but actually the revised audio PD has referenced.

Bits and bobs of that video don't "line up" the audio / visual properly, for me, so it does (quite obviously in places) sound dubbed.

That's not to say the sounds haven't been improved, it's just that video probably isn't it.

Precisely.
btw. You'd think they'd at least get the dubbing right, but I honestly have no clue as to what that engine noise is from, when the ACR Viper passes by...:scared:

I'm afraid that the engine sounds will be the only Achilles heel of the game and that will piss me a lot:tdown:👎👎

The way you act is like all the sounds in GT suck its really not the case some suck some are good some sound excellent. Keep your head up man you never know, however if you are expecting 1000 cars to sound like they do in real life you will be disappointed.

Seems like expecting 100 cars to sound good will lead to disappointment. I think we can all forget about standard cars sounding any better than what G4 gave us. No we just have to wish that all the premium cars at least sound authentic.
