Thats the thing, some of us cant find any new opening to download from GT-TV. There's the original opening, the short and the long ending and thats it.

I'm downloading it now. I had to quit the game, turn it back on and it was there in GT-TV.

Experience and credit increase is in affect for Remote races not yet cashed out. Just collected to buy the Schulze GTR and got 200% increase.

Let's see...

Second, a Prius touring car? And a CR-Z? Seriously? Why are hybrids that important?

[...]

where are things like Red Rock Valley, the old Rome, and EL CAPITAN WHICH WAS IN A TRAILER?

[...]

they STILL DON'T HAVE A LIVERY EDITOR.

Who cares? I like cars. If you don't like cars, why play GT5? Tuning cars like a small Honda to race well is FUN, dude. It's something people are doing for enjoyment. Why not try it? If you only want race cars, that's your business, and GT5 already has many many many race cars.

What entitles you to the 'old rome'? You're not going to get it. The current Rome is an awesome track, and PD is going to devote their time to modeling more diverse tracks than doing the painstaking work of another Rome that is too similar to the current on in theme. This is common sense. If you can't like the DLC without that, you're not realistic.

I love how you complain about more colors because you don't want to see them on the track, and then totally freak, allcaps style, about no livery editor.

Maybe the game you really want is photoshop, to paint pictures of cars? I don't mind a livery editor, but it's not really on my wish list. But for you, I'd think you be thrilled not to have to see ugly paint schemes. Are you just looking for reasons to be displeased? I can't think of another explanation for this contradiction.

Enjoy what you've got here. It's pretty damn good.

Liking the new physics. Easier for the tail to break loose, understeer is more pronounced and more challenging to control, and torque steer is much more evident. Seems like weight transfer is more noticeable too. The cars actually handle the jumps like jumps, slamming into the ground instead of being set down softly.

AI seems better. Also collisions with them effect both cars! I pitted a couple opponents with taps, not the constant pushing it normally requires. They're not as aggressive as I would like, though. But they seem to move around more.

Also... noticed a few of the AI drivers take different lines to each other, and made attempts to go around me when I was spinning out. :)

Yup
I noticed this too.
On the starting grid straight on the nurb they were all over the track.

Also somebody check out the bmw lmr v12 it sounds crazy . listen to the gear change.
I was on suzuka in a supra and when I went off track the car jumped around a bit more if I was going fast im sure I couldve flipped it.

A livery editor would actually have the potential to put out some good designs. Chrome & flourescent colors have no such upside.

Also, the old Rome was a much better, MUCH more interesting track. The old one actually made you want to drive on it. The new one is narrow, somewhat boring, and a bit dark in some places. And it's in the exact same area of town, even sharing some of the same roads, so why didn't they just put in the old one instead of designing a new one that isn't as good.

Ummm.. I would say over 90% of players would love to have a livery editor.

not alot of people gives a **** about livery editor. stop making up numbers. i hate people who fake stats to back up their opinionated claims. play forza or NFS underground if u want livery, simple as that. GT is about car physics and handling, not about cosmetics *****.

newbielives
Can anyone confirm if the AI still slows down when you get behind them?

Haven't noticed it ot looked for it.
Not sure what people were talking about but the slipstream in the fgt seasonal is as strong as ever. Were they talking about online?

You're right, it's closer to 91.3%.

New intro is nice, but I wish it would be without piano intro. Either way, I like it. it has some really cool filtering effects and may hint at drag racing? The final clip with X2011's seems to be on a long straight road that I don't recognize with meter increments by 100's on it.

You're actually crazy if you expect such a big feature to be included in a patch. That'd be hold off until the next release obviously, and being disappointed by something like that is just you having crazy expectations, nothing more, nothing less.

All of that is subjective talk but you must put yourself in the developer shoes as well, creating a new experience is a lot more fun than just replicating old ones. I'm sure at some point in the future they might just update the track add a variant that would mimic the old track but yeah, new content is always nice for them since recreating the same thing for like 4+ games can be quite annoying but that's just me speculating anyways.

All in all, keep your expectations in check for free updates in the future, it'll help you not getting this mad about it :P

I usually drive sport hard tires on lower end car vs AI who's driving Racing hard tires and they still slow down when you get behind them. It's like they are putting up a good fight until you get behind them, then they slow down and let you pass, and once you pass, they don't even try to keep up.
BTW I'm speaking of pre patch
I think AI only do that if you have a faster car or a better grade of tires.
I noticed that doing the seasonals a while back.

Prior to Spec II the AI didn't slow down when I got behind them, but when I got alongside after drafting them, the AI would lift for a full second at least.
