You're actually crazy if you expect such a big feature to be included in a patch. That'd be hold off until the next release obviously, and being disappointed by something like that is just you having crazy expectations, nothing more, nothing less.

I was expecting a livery editor because it should have been in the game from release. It's pretty much standard fare for a racing game anymore.

And El Capitan was in a pre-release trailer, so there really is no excuse not to have it in from the start, let alone in a major patch.

I still stand by my opinion on Rome Circuit. New stuff just for the sake of new stuff doesn't make sense unless it's pretty obviously better than what it replaces. The front straight of the new one reminds me of an ugly vacant lot, and the rest of it a dark alley. Does anyone actually think the new one looks or drives better than the old one?

Also, as interesting as Cape Ring is, Red Rock Valley > that. It was a completely, undeniably amazing track, while Cape Ring seems to get more hate than love (I for one love the spiral loop, possibly because of some subconcious connection to that great old track RRV?)

Could somebody PLEASE post the intro? I won't be able to download the update until 4pm today. The intro is the only thing I haven't seen yet.

The Pit stop photo mode is simply amazing 👍 The sounds and the atmosphere is . You can hear the power tools folks.

Spec 2.0 intro is now live for me and just went live a few minutes ago. This update is an Early Christmas present everyone, and should be treated as such i believe, a gift from people at PD who have worked very hard to recover from natural disasters to pull of something big for the people that showed them supports over the past months, but anyways enough mushy stuff.

PHYSICS! I must say, it is hard to say exactly what is different, but to me, it seems like a whole new experience, as stated before the sense of speed and excitement is new, especially with interior and bumper cams.
The typical slight corrections, and even wrist snapping turns of the wheel to keep yourself from slingshotting into a wall all feel as if they are more real. This is by no means a physics overhaul, because honestly, if you want better physics in a game you cant just change them completely, they would most certainly be all wrong. But anyways, it provides the driver (at least with a wheel like myself) with a more natural driving feel, and also seems to make your mind not have to work as hard trying to override what you would do in real life vs. what you would do in a game. Point Being, i think experienced drivers will find this tweak to be refreshing and enlightening rather than new annoying and bothersome, and also i believe that even with this easier work load on personal hand eye coordination, real drivers wont get all upset because it makes the game easier for some noobs. PD is leveling the playing field here and providing Everyone with top notch driving quality, and thats what we can ask for from a driving Simulator correct?

Nice :) the login bonus multiplier works with the cash you get from your Bob's too.

Just cashed in a Bob with 5+ million credits to buy the new cars and got 11 million becasue I have a 200% multiplier :)

Well they said that standard's cars interior's will be simplified. Taking Aston Vanquish to Laguna Seca I expected nice Astonish but a bit shady interior. Game starts and what I see...? Black, absolut black, there's absolutely nothing inside that interior, just hands of driver turning "black", thats rubbish... :/

GRRRRRRR I just went to cash in some credits that i'd been building up on a B spec driver, and when i went to receive prizes, it didn't update my credits or experience, but zeroed them both out from the driver. SO now I just lost 8 million credits a and gained no experience from that driver at all.

Not impressed.

not alot of people gives a **** about livery editor. stop making up numbers. i hate people who fake stats to back up their opinionated claims. play forza or NFS underground if u want livery, simple as that. GT is about car physics and handling, not about cosmetics *****.

You are making quite some narrow minded claims when it comes to livery editor. Its not all "Power Rangers" as you claim. Many people actually make motorsport liveries whether its recreating some of their favorite paint schemes from a real car or creating something of their own. It would be nice if people like you opened your eyes, look at the examples on Rfactor and iRacing and stopped grouping everyone who wants livery editor int this pathetic stereotype where all they do is make hideous paint jobs.

first of all, i never claimed it to be "power rangers"....you read the wrong post noob, that was someone else so don't put words into my mouth. second of all, just play forza then and stop making post about this stupid livery editor. real GT fans who played gt1-gt4 wouldn't give a **** about a stupid livery editor.

Agreed 100%. I love the new feel through the wheel. You can clearly feel the change, even on a DFGT. The cars aren't as twitchy anymore, and it feels like the suspension in the cars works better. (absorbs bumps better, etc)

I wouldn't mind a livery editor and I've been loyal to GT since GT1, also don't go calling members who have nearly 10000 more posts than you, noobs.

Not true at all. The single-color paint schemes with no decals and no numbers are extremely unrealistic. It's high time GT let players do at least something in that regard.

Guy's I already try the new GT-R and just wowww....the most importante thing to me;

1-we have Spa now.
2.the splistream now is very realistic when you set it low!i tried it with my friend and now you can't recover 1000000000000000000000sec' in the straight!
3-finally we can race with the stock cars withuot any tune!

Funny how a guy who hasn't been here for long is the one calling me a noob.

Also for your information, I've played GT since GT1 so take your Judgemental, elitest attitude elsewhere. Again, you keep forgetting other games who had this long before Forza and NFS and have it now. Perhaps you should go elsewhere since you have the apparent need to Order people (including longtime GT fans like me) to stop talking about Livery Editor.

please stop moaning about the Leviry editor,FMS has it so go and play FMS!we now have Spa or you prefer the Leviry editor,do you?
