Also looking at that screenshot of the digital HUD, I guess we can all assume the X1 is premium. I'm sure that was a given because PD wouldn't go to RedBull just to design a standard car. I think that is our proof though.

It's possible. He could also be talking about LMP cars since they get p to those speeds too don't they?

True, in that case he would be the driving license guy, but somehow I don't think so.

I think he said it can easily get to 400kmph, but someone needs to check that as I am about to be blocked by school internet for a midnight shutdown, and even though the LMP cars can do 400kmph, they don't do it regularly I don't think

Just checked. It was the 2010 E3 trailer, and he does say "easily reaches 400kmh."

Actually LMP car do not get to such speeds, last remnants of motors making such high speeds were the monster Group C cars of the late 80's early 90's. Cars like the Nissan R92 and Mercedes-Sauber C9 were capable of such speeds going down the back straight of Hunaudiares(sp?), without the chicanes that is. It's a wonder those things stayed on the road, if this concept car is making 400km/h on la Sarthe with chicanes this thing is incredibly fast.

Don't forget that customized black SEMA winner Mustang which was shown a long time ago, don't know whether you'd like it but to me that also seems like something to look forward to ( although not as much as the original muscle cars ).
Holy crap, yeah! Forgot about that one! See? There are so many great cars and features that you forget about other ones! :D

EDIT: I also like the originals more, but thanks for reminding me anyway. 👍

Well take commericial, financial and sporting restrictions out of car design and I don't think anyone would believe have fast it's possible to go!

Ok, then, What car do you think is this one?

And why is Vettel being scanned? To pilot a phantasy car???

I think that if he is here is to show his face inside a F1.

It's my honest and humble opinion.

Red Bull RB5 (2009 F1)

fpcft3.png)

X1 Protype (Le Mans-like)

It's a red-bull car, it's going to have elements of all of their cars.

But we know it's never been seen before.

The thing is though, this is the current nose Red Bull are using on their F1:

It was changed because it was better than the one I posted before, so, why include it? Probably because of Kaz's perfectionsm, because PD modeled the RB5, and he wants the RB5 elements, not mix it with other from another car (for example: the McLaren Mercedes 19-inch or whatever, there is no other option, but if they did the 19-inch, it will say 19-inch, just beacuse Kaz is that way).

It's not the F1 car. The 2 supports that go from the nose to the front wing, pass through the front wing in the demo. The F1 front wing, does not.

I'm not sure what you mean, the X1 seems to have a red-bull trademark duck-bill nose. But it is definitely not an F1 wing.

Sony only had the licensce for 07 maybe upto 08 for F1.

F1 dont easily do 400 kmh

Honda barely managed 400kmh a couple of years ago on a speed test they ran.
So I dont think he is referring to the F1 car.

It does look like we will also maybe get some form of Sebastian Vettle challenge like they mentioned with other drivers.

Yes, you're right, I also noticed that, but it may been that PD cannot model F1 in so much detail (compare the F2007 to the real one, some user did that, and even silly details weren't as accurate as the other normal cars) because they aren't allowed to take photos that may reveal confidential data about the car, seeing that Red Bull are this year's winning team, and it may well have many things in common with last year's Red Bull.

A slightly bigger picture of what surely must be the X1:

Large picture! :P

It's much wider than an F1 car, it seems.

See for yourself; the X1 is like a Le Mans car, and if you can't see the picture clearly, modern F1 have never had that shape nor headlights, and it's nothing like the car in yor picture.

Winning team, what have they won?(Apart from a individual races)
I'm not asking in a fecicous(sp) manner, just wondering what you ment.

Guys, come on the X1 and possibly a F1 car could be in the game.

The car behind the cloth doesnt have to be the X1 and looks like an F1 car to be fair.

I would love old Rome to comeback, it is one of my favourite tracks of GT of all time, but the thing in that picture is Madrid, just take a look:

12 out of 14 pole positions? (and Lewis' pole at Canada wasn't very legal with the fuel thing) In fact, the only thing that aren't allowing them to win everything are the poor exits that the car makes, and the fact that both drivers are literally fighting against each other.

That's clearly an open wheeled F1 style car. It doesn't matter if the element of the front wing passes through the nose cone supports. No one said it had to be the 2010 or 2009 style car. Clearly you can see the suspension arms that are an F1 car shape. The sidepods which are F1 shaped, the nosecone which is F1 shaped, the brake ducts (wings) which are F1 shaped, no fenders which supports F1, open wheel, open cockpit, it's just a close up shot of the front nose cone so the back doesnt seem to be noticeable.

The X1 car seems to be pretty awesome, but two things that got me all hyped up: A normal, unmodified 'Stang finally makes into a GT game and the weather is just astonishing, I've shown the crappy quality weather trailer to all my friends at work and I think I've converted them to GT religion.

Honeslty, the amount of particle detail that goes into the windshield when the car exits the Eiger tunnel is just impressive. What a game!

Wouldn't surprise me if the X1 was some form of hybrid, perhaps with KERS.

I personally think it is, remember, this is a car made to perform the absolute best, without worrying about rules, minimum specifications or anything of that sort. I can imagine it takes cues from many sources, including F1 and LMP vehicles, probably some fighter jets too :P

I imagine we'll see very soon just what the X1 really is.

From,
Chris.
