You install the game onto the PS3 hard drive, right? So why wouldn't user-created circuits get saved there, too?

Exactly, and that is what I had always assumed.

But then the only person in the world with the game said 5... Anyway, I said Grain of Salt... You get the point, I hope.

Amar said almost nothing about the track creator, I don't get it, I was hoping he didn't want to spoil us but who knows. If it really worked, I mean "decently" (and btw saving just 5 would be much much worse than indecent...) it could be the first step of a new era in GT, just imagine a true track editor in GT6, and maybe one day a user created track will get so famous that it will be recreated and built in the real world.

Man I just saw a direct feed creation of a Mount Aso theme track and it looks sweet!
Big elevation changes can be had on it. And tight corners with max complexity. Excellent for drifting

Nice

If you have to unlock the point-to-point, then at least you can know that it's there for you. Just have to unlock it. I REALLY want to see what's possible with point-to-point. Maybe it's the best chance to have the most intense rally racing in GT history.

I am a bit disappointed that certain environments are only for certain types of racing. Not that I would be banking on a 5-mile long tarmac Grand Prix course using the Alaska environment or anything. Tokyo Bay seemed like the best possible city course environment, but it's more a kart-only environment. Kind of expected more, but this is not bad.

Lot of sections, sharp corners and as narrow road as possible and you should have pretty good rally course

But that's not confirmed, and the worst thing about this forum is people saying something is true when we have no clue. I want it to be in as much as anyone, but until we have proof it is in, let's assume it's not to avoid further dissapointment.

Well in the screenshots game says ''SS''. Isnt ss always p2p?

I don't know much about that sort of stuff myself, but hopefully that's the case. WRC will be awesome if it's P2P with your passanger telling you what's coming up. I read that this is what it is, but have yet to see proof :nervous:

Any photos of where in manual it says this?

I saw it one of the threads here, can't remeber now, the one with the full game pics/video I think. It's quite sparse anyway, the ingame manual is more detailed

Note there are only 4 sections here, and how complex the turns are

On the stream, the Mount Aso theme even with track width at maximum, is still fairly narrow and the turns still quite sharp

Oh man really excited about mt.Aso. Seems like a really good theme for touge. Just hope we can make it really intense with a lot of hairpins! :)

Apparently, course maker kart tracks are can be raced on with any car in the game. The only problem there is the tracks simplicity, because the kart tracks have limited sector count and probably less complexity too, which really is too bad (and I don't say that because of not being able to make nice city tracks, I just wanted to create some kick-ass kart courses).

To be honest, that looks unexpectedly good and interesting, although I still think that the scenery is too bland (although not much more than the Toscana dirt track). I wonder if there will be themes to be unlocked that are more "carved" through mountains (a bit like the central section of Trial Mountain) rather than running in open areas. That's what I'm looking forward to see the most.

Every one of the Mount Aso tracks I've seen all look different so far 👍

A demo drive, but that's what the Toscana tarmac theme looks like
See if I can find a better quality video
