You mean this one -> http://www.gtpla.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/gt5-screenshot-tracks.jpg ?

About Vision GT. I found 2 videos of this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTicZgQNEXQ
In this one I think all tracks and cars are from GT4 with added really alive pit crews. So I wouldn't count that.

But second one have some interesting things in it. You can see premium cars, interior, so it is way closer to GT5. I'll try to compare details on tracks in that video and in GT4, but it will be quite difficult as I don't have GT4 :D

Hey, that second vid is mine 👍:sly:
Small world eh...

No need to quote the pictures over and over again.

You never know Furinkazen, there was supposedly going to be a C-Spec, as mcfizzle had said.

uhh thanks for that.

Anyway was I imagining an early video of Cape Ring (in the news section) with heavy rain? I remember thinking how awesome the new track looked (and hey i'm one of those freaks who actually likes it) but it might have been the quality rather than actual weather....

Don't think there has ever been a video like that. Though there were some extremely low quality vids of cape ring a few days before release.

-> Way, wha!? C-Spec!? Whats that supposed to mean? As in like a theater view from GTA & Driver series!? :dunce:

-> And yes Dmarc_Atl, that the Mitsubishi i MiEV Concept. ;)

BT -> I've included some tracks like the Mountain Road Pass and the Nuovo Rome v.2 on my thread here:

GT's Original Tracks & World Circuits >MISSING< in GT5

^ The Test Course '10s, Piazza, Ice Arena, & El Cap are already in the list before Abraxas pointed these tracks out. ;)

-> So far I couldn't justify the validity of Mountain Road 2 if its either a Course Creator theme, just a virtual backdrop, or a dedicated Original Track. :odd:

-> And at the same time, I'm contemplating if the TGTT weather/time feature be included on my >MISSING< list. I did add Tsukuba Wet Track on the list simply because it was a full dedicated race track in GT4. :scared:

-> But on the Stelvio track, as far as what I observed that the overall details of the surroundings can be justified as a true Original or World Circuit track rather than a simple Course Creator track. ;)

I wouldn't go that far by adding Rome from Toyota trailer. It's Rome without barriers and all that racing stuff. We have seen madrit without barriers before. Also as you can see, road texture on that is really poor. It looks like some early build. Opposite situation is with Eifel course creator theme. In Toyota/Scion video we can see way more detailed version than we have in game.

It would be cool to drive around the Madrid and Rome courses without barriers though.

^ Can you post a link on that Madrid Track? Thanks! :)

-> I should say the same for Eiger Path from GTHD

^ And for this track:

Tahiti Beach aka. Tahiti Road in GT2

:sly:

^ Hmm, I see...

at 1:01 - London City Course Night
at 1:17 (probably SSR5)

Also in the first one at the end of that piece with the camera zoomed in on the JGTC Nissan, it shows the hilly (Eiger long) tunnel exit (as the camera whites out), first thought Grand Valley but on the left there are no barriers just hillside. Like the Eiger short tunnel, but the turn was too tight. I think at 0:40 in the vid could be a first idea of a course maker location. The one at 0:42 is just a show off piece, you can see at the end of that short scene (before it changes to tunnel) on the far right that there is a strange unfinished piece visible.

What is the track at 0:35? Feel like i've missed a trick here, looks like the bit in Outrun with the arches over the road...was that a track in Prologue?

I have taken some time to take a deep look at almost all released GT5 material (pictures and videos) and there's lots of stuff in that material that didn't make it to the final release, both tracks and cars.

Here is a video that shows the NASCAR Cars of the 2009 season:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2uQ2ayvvWY
I would love to play with those cars.

And here is a very nice track that didn't make it to the final game too:
This video show a playground (track) that isn't in the final game. I want it!!! xD

A nice video showing more "unreleased" GT5 stuff:
More unreleased stuff, but to me the "pink flowers" track. What track?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-GgLX9QOH0

PS: I did a search and haven't found a topic about this NASCAR Cars or other unreleased stuff, if there is one delete this one and point me to the old one, thank you.

the first two, yeah, if they originally had them why not include them? the third, however, with the pink flowers i think may be the Photo Location Arweiler Gate. it looks like a three way intersection to me, so that's my guess.

A little bit offtopic, but, how GT could look witohut hardware limitations, and a blazing fast way to model the cars? ....just in dreams for now, maybe GT6.. or like Vision Gran Turismo.
From partian reality..to complete reality...
just like this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciFzs3luDak&feature=related
maybe just maybe PD fulfill that statement, complete reality.. The data logger...

there's a bunch of tracks in that Video that we don't have in GT5! What's up with that crap?!

And another thing I noticed...... If you have the Pajero Rally Raid Evolution '03, it has the sign for the Grand Canyon Track......... WHY MUST PD TEASE US LIKE THAT?!:mad::mad::mad:

Another piece made for the trailer. It's too narrow for PD to put it in game. I first thought it was Kamakura

kamakura.jpg

But it isn't, it appears to be tunnel with textures to represent trees. And some 2D trees sticking out of the walls to try and quickly act as 3D ones and hide the tunnel-like tree textures behind them. It's just a quickly done section for the trailer.

So I just come across this thread and am reading through it. Judging by the date some of this stuff was posted, I think its time for soem of these to be sort of updated

I believe this is long overdue to now be mark off the "Unreleased" list as this car was added via an update.

Tracks

Test course

I think its about time to update this as its long been confirmed to be Route X (Thats basically the climb up the bridge).

Bloom is back in GT5.

And finally:

Sorry if I'm crushing dreams here (again I've just come across all this), but I'm pretty sure thats Route X and not Test Course.
