After this online is offline is online physics -change I wonder whats the effect to the current TT of Skyline/deep forest/Comfort Softs. Guess I will see that as i have saved the fastest lap ghost replay and can use the same settings in GT-R. Lets see if I can keep up or do I blast past the old time.

I dont have the car But I'm glad they updated it. They really messed up the sound when they released it, people complained, they listened to their fans and improved the sound. So good job on pd's part.

9500 before, 10300 after. It's the same power curve as before (peak power at 9000 rpm), you just get 800 rpm more of the power decreasing near the end.

Like gt5 was not fully finished when Sony forced PD to release it early, so happy I can now say this freely without getting a torrent of abuse from the one on my ignore list 👍 such a good day, a great update for gt5 and I've learnt I have an ignore list on here so I don't have to put up with all the haters who I feel should not be on a fan site in the first place.

These are the GT5 updates so far, software updates do not need any maths, they could change version number any time when they wanted to. PD could release spec 3.0 earlier, it does not have to follow past trend to reach x.13 rev.

I will say that it doesn't actually sound like the F1 cars. I'm not saying that they actually recorded it, but they obviously did more to it than just make the car load the FGT sounds when it runs.



I also quite like the idea of being able to adjust fuel/tire usage online, but since no one I played with plays anymore I do wish they allowed it in Arcade mode too.

Unless they accidentally released the wrong development version or something (which... wouldn't surprise me, I suppose), I'm doubtful that PD is on a strict DLC schedule that required them to release it before it was finished.

I think they now have the sound right, it is just the mixing that is off. In the cockpit view there is a bit too much gear whine. In the replay there is too much exhaust rasp.

What matters is that PD recognized there was a problem. If anything they are more self aware of their work. This and the Camaro RM are probably the 2 best sound updates to GT5.

Listening to the community/consumers is not a bad thing, as we can now see after the HSV got fixed. It's not perfect but now it is not insulting.

We've updated GT5. However we found that resuming an endurance race saved before the update will cause problems.

If you have a saved race, please cancel out of the update, start the game and complete your race before updating again.
