I don't have one currently. Google spreadsheet limits you to 400,000 cells (including blank cells).

My plan right now is to have two sheets for people to use. The first will be minimalist and contain the same information as the previous sheet. The second will be a downloadable excel spreadsheet that will contain any colors, cost... that people contribute. The downloadable spreadsheet will also include the search program that I wrote just before the v1.06 update.

When you say level do you mean the performance points? Or are you referring to the level required to purchase the car?

If I finish writing an exam early enough tonight I'll try to put some time in on getting these put together.

400k cells! I thought it was 4000, never mind me then.

For Level, I meant level to buy the car but it may not be as important as PP so it's no biggie. I checked out the list you made and it is looking good 👍

Good stuff :D Down to 13 absentees now :D
What are these 13 cars? I'm sure someone has them sitting in their UCD.

--edit-- lol just read that you didn't want to post them, it's down to 13 now instead of 40 so it shouldn't be too bad to post them up  I assume you're compiling a list ... If you have a link I'll take a look at which ones are missing and if I come across them I'll PM you.

--Triple edit--

The mileage reading I took was in KM, I just realized you US guys might record miles. I can write a little conversion in my Excel if you like or I can let someone using English measurements put in the mileage.

I am -19 days from the master day. I will get data from my main account after (day 1027).

Has anyone seen any of the rarest level ticket cars on the online garage. I haven't been able to check all of the weeks. I am still waiting to see that 370Z Academy car. I would assume the online garage is selectively random and won't repeat.

I just didn't want to post them 'cos there were loads. The current list is:

Audi R8 LMS Race Car '09
Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (C5) '00
Ford GT '02
Honda Integra Type R Touring Car
Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM Race Car #2 '98
Mitsubishi HSR-II Concept '89
Mitsubishi Starion 4WD Rally Car '84
Nissan 240RS Rally Car #24 '85
Nissan Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R '01
Nissan GT-R LM Road Going Version '95
Nissan mm-R Cup Car '01
Nissan Skyline HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C (R30) '84
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally Car '86
Spoon Civic Type R (EK) '00
Toyota WedsSport Celica '03

There's also the Buick Special '62 and the HPA Stage II R32, but since no-one's ever seen them in the UCD, I'm treating them as level-less. The XFR doesn't appear in the UCD either as far as anyone knows, but you can win it from a level 9 ticket, so it's level 9

(yes, the list is actually 15 cars - that's because of an administrative oversight :D)

As far as I know, the OCD only has standards, so no Academy cars.

Yep - Standard cars only in both OCD and UCD.

Look and you will see

Do you mean the cost of each car?

TornadoAlley, I don't know if you have agreed to continue compiling data or not but, if you are, is this in an acceptable format for you to extract for the master list?

Dan.

I even updated all of the Performance Points for the premium models.

I've got 8 of those cars in my garage, if I send them to a new game, with a level 0 a-spec driver, will it say "you need to be at least level 6 to use this car" ?

No, sadly. Purchase levels are just that - the level you need to be to purchase a car. You can drive and own anything at any level.

I did. You don't track that data. Why the rolleyes smiley?

I've tracked that data from day one.

From what I've seen since 1.06 they are the same but, I've noticed a few that are different although I'm not ruling out input errors on my part.

I didn't see any levels noted at all on the now-removed document. I checked it twice (as every good Santa should).

Edit: The file on page 1 does though.

I removed them for 'other' reasons. You can of course refer to any of the spreadsheets I have uploaded.

On the one I removed the fields may have been hidden but it is still there, in the same format as before.

Fastas - I was working on incorporating your entries into the compiled list and it looks like you missed 2 days. Everything matches upto your day 43 but I had to shift the rest of the entries two days to match the info I have from others.

I've uploaded a new compiled sheet with all the info I have thus far.

When the "Original List From" cell contains two names I'm just recognizing anyone who contributes new information to that section of the list. I'm also listing the day for both users in the same order that they are acknowledged.

With a certain amount of dread, I checked out the new update (1.07)
PP values have now changed, everything else remains as 1.06 (In terms of the UCD rotation)
I am expunging the old PP values from my records.

i am not surprised. this is why i am weary of recording a bunch of days again because i have a feeling that pd will continue to refresh the ucd rotation every so often

I don't blame you. If this latest patch is just a quick fix, maybe they're in no rush to overhaul it again, but who knows? I'm going remain optimistic for now.

At least the PP values could easily be filled in later with a simple search program to match a mileage for that car (assuming you have a recorded PP value for that car and mileage somewhere in the database).

Tornado's list looks good but how do computer illiterate users use it? How do I load up an offline version within non-browser software: i.e. one that I can actaully perform electronic searches to find my place and specific cars I am looking for on the list?

I just finished a convenient downloadable version (see first link in my signature). It has the same information as the online version with an extra search program.

I have removed all of the old PP values and the only ones that appear are post v1.07.

I have not had time yet to look for any patterns in the data so anyone who notices something interesting let us know.

Open up the spreadsheet, click on "File", click on "Download As", click on "Excel" or "CSV".

Then you should be able to open it on your computer if you have spreadsheet software installed.

after read the thread, so dont know what the actual deal is, but if its about gripes with the used car dealership then i have one, just a minor one, but still annoyed me today anyways...

the list gets updated too quick, there was 2 rare cars ive never seen since i brought the game, but i needed to grind a little to get the funds, but when i went back they were gone and the whole stock had changed, this was within like a 10 or so minute time frame(3 lap race with a super fast car)...

Thanks that is much more accessible.

I had tried crazedmodder's suggestion: "Open up the spreadsheet, click on "File", click on "Download As", click on "Excel" or "CSV"." Unfortunately there must be a compatibility issue with my browser (latest IE) or something because everytime I try this (whether logged into Google docs or not; and have my internet security disabled) nothing ever happens: i.e. I expect a window to pop up and ask me where to "save as" the file following the activity progress bar at the bottom of the browser.

Anyways I think I'm too many days in: about 6500. I was hoping I might have looped around the entire list once or twice by now and be lined up with earlier positions. I was fairly sure I had because for a long while I was seeing doublets (the same car) in successive spaces within the same PD 'day' dozens of times. I thought perhaps they were filling in the spaces of expensive cars I had purchased on first cycles through the list.

I take it no one has seen any solid evidence of the list coming full circle and knowing the approximate number of days for this to happen?

No one has seen the list loop back (both before v1.05 and after v.1.06).

You are further in game days than I've seen yet. It would be interesting if you recorded a days worth of cars for a reference point. It is very possible that the list has looped back but because we have so little data you are in one of the blank areas.

the list doesnt get updated after so many minutes, but rather after each game day (which would be any race, license test, practice race, etc...) each time you do one of those the list advances one game day

As stated above, but in simpler terms: You control the Used Car Lot, there is no time frame to buy cars as they will not ever change unless you enter a race or other mentioned above in which six cars will be added to the top of the UCD list and six removed from the bottom (if filter is set to deaer acquisition).

Many people including myself use the licence tests as a quick way to pass days in the UCD by simply entering the first test then just skipping from the first to second, third etc up to test five which upon doing this and exiting will completely restock the UCD with the next cycle of cars.

I downloaded the spreadsheet and there are two master lists. Assuming I start a new save, which one should I post my position relative to?

Do you know where you slotted in in the old game (did you coincide with Fastas' data or not)? Fastas' data is Master List 2, otherwise you are on list 1.

If you do not know where you were before the latest updates, you will need to try and match cars in your UCD right now to the two sheets. Otherwise you can let us know what you have in your UCD and we can try to work out where you go (if we have enough data in the spreadsheets).
