So here's my modest contribution so far:

master list #1, days 195 to 220

Tornadoalley: can you tell me whether the format is ok?

Thanks.

I can work with that format. I did find a couple of minor typos that were easy to correct. I've got a pretty robust system implemented to check for typos so it isn't too hard.

I'll try to get an update posted tonight sometime :)

Edit: Update completed to include segovia and Duck's contributions.

I am working on the gap around 1775. It is somewhat slow going as I have a full time job and family commitments but as soon as I have a but more I will post what I have.

Can I still determine my UCD list even if I'm pretty far in the game? lvl 33 A spec, lvl 10 B spec

Your A-spec and B-spec level isn't as important as the number of game days that you are (find it in the GT5 save game file).

Updated the sheets to contain Duck and segovia's additions. Thanks!

@Tornadoalley.

I found a 1 row offset in my list after day 3118. Please check if it has been copied as is in your lists. Now it is correct. Error only was in day counter.

Noted, I'll take a look when I do my next update.

not able to download the compiled list...never had a problem before. I'm getting error on any format download...anyone else?

A few more:

master list #1, days 269 to 339

This is not going as fast as it could, because I'm also playing the game...:dopey:

I also offer to provide an OpenOffice version of TornadoAlley's spreadsheet (including a "translatiion" of the search macro) if a number of people say they would use it.

has there been an update to the master list in the first post? I saw a mention of a master list #2?

Master list #2 is about 85% complete up to day 3250.
ML #1 is just covering some hundreds, by now :(

I saw it, thanks.

I recently bought a "searchable" car to try and find my reference point in the list. I bought a Celica with 4 wheel steering (4WS) but the color is very easily searchable as it is "Greenish Yellow Mica Metallic"

I can use that as a reference point on the master list 1 or 2 to determine where I'm at in the UCD cycle, right?

Yes, the fastest method is:
1) look in which game day you are (in xmb, look at gt5 savefile properties)
2) check the list around that day (+- 50 days, quite often)

If you don't find it, try with gt5cars.net or Tornadoalley xls sheet entry form.

Last resource is manually check list using (find).

If you have one in UCD, use a rare car to do the check. Most likely you will find 10 to 20 4WS Celica!!!

yeah, I did a ctrl+f search looking for the 4ws Celica but also looking for cars I remember seeing at the same time I bought the Celica.

Thanks for the list/work/help BTW.

I've waited for about 500 days for a Group C/LMP car to turn up, and so far all I've got is the Jaguar XJR-9. Isn't that weird as I've waited for such a long time.

Updated the sheets to contain the most recent contributions. Master list #1 is definitely more sparse in info than list #2 and that will probably be the case for some time.

I just did a quick check and in the 20,000 or so cars that have been cataloged there is no repeat of a six car sequence anywhere.

my current game day is 868. The two top cars in the UCD (by dealer acquisition) are:

Honda NSX Type S 97
87168 km, Sebring Silver Metallic

Triumph Spitfire 1500 74
75177 km, Delft

I'm having trouble locating any reference point on the lists - any help/suggestions?

What are the other top 4 cars for your current game day?

As best as I can tell you might be in an area of master list #1 that isn't documented yet. As has been mentioned before if you start a fresh game that will give you an idea about where you are in relation to the compiled lists.

I dont understand any of these master list

The master list is the same for everyone. The start point of it varies for everyone.

How do I figure out my list and none of these UCD search work for me

Your list is the same as everyone else's, just you will have started at a different point to everyone else.

If you're having issues finding specific cars in the UCD, go to the GT5cars.net used car database search (which is based on this database) and follow the instructions.

Your shift key works, so please use it for the personal "I" and the start of sentences. This is part of the AUP and the AUP is a condition of your membership.

I'm getting an error and blank file when I try to download the GT5 v1.10 Compiled Used Car Cycle (updated 8/14/11). Is anyone else having the same issue? I've tried from two different machines. Hopefully it's just a temporary issue on Google's side?

I've cobbled together my latest data.

Bad news:ouch:
I forgot to back up my secondary save data before performing what may have been an unnecessary format on my PS3. It may take some time to get back to where I was at filling the gap.

I did manage to restore my main game save after some 36 hours without internet access, so I haven't given up yet.

Big thanks for the new contributions and to Duck for filling the gap I had left:tup:
