And I forgot to mention that I think you (CLIBBY34) had a numbering error in your sheet around day 1146 for the master days and for your game days (also at 1146). I've corrected it in my sheets but you might want to take a look at that.

I've had a little look, but not seen anything awry... is the error still there?


I've also added a few more days. One car was the Jaguar - XJR-9 LM Race Car '88, (but I didn't have enough money :banghead:), but your list has a "#2" in the description? Hope there aren't 2 of them :crazy:

No, there aren't two, but as that info wasn't available in early stages, was a very useful one.

I checked my 3rd account on days 67 and following, and is all good.

@Tornadoalley: I added a second tab to my sheet with car colour revision (race cars, cars without chip name). It would be useful for people who want buy cars in earlier stages, hunting for specific variations (how I'm doing.....)
 
No end in sight and no crossing between the two lists that we've seen yet.

Went ahead and updated all of the lists with recent contributions. List #1 still hasn't seen 6 of the cars in the lot.

I'll be getting a new PS3 soon because the one I have now is borrowed. I hope this is not going to send me to list #2!

Your best bet would be to start a new game with a different account in the same PS3. You are pretty much guaranteed to find which list you match and what your offset is from the recorded lists. If I know that it is very easy to incorporate your contribution into the master lists.
 
Sorry for the duplication, Clibby... We should try to coordinate our efforts. I saw your message in time to skip a few days, however. I still include information you already have, in case we made mistakes. That way, TornadoAlley can cross-check on the other list.

master list #1, days 1137 to 1246 and 1261 to 1281

I setup my camera and tripod in front of the TV and advanced the UCD 4 days at a time and took pictures of it. It was easier to work at transcribing the information afterwards. If anyone is interested in having the pictures to fill in other info (cost and mileage, anyway -- colour might be a bit more difficult), I can make them available.

And the Ford Falcon finally appears on day 1273!
 
I'm working through those updates right now. CLIBBY and segovia. In the region that you overlap there are a few disagreements on the lists.

The first is car numbers 6828-6832 (around day 1139)
The others are on the following days (I'm listing the car that each of you has)

segovia, looks like you're progressing through the days quite a bit faster than me, so keep it up ;) (Lazy me keeps racing online as I never seem to get my 200% bonus for seasonal grinding, doesn't roll the days as much :D)
I'll probably check in my UCD now and then to double check etc, and if you accidentally leave a gap at any point haha!!

Hmm, re. the anomalies - looks like a ctrl-F issue lol. Best bet would be to take the second occurance alphabetically, so left-hand side cars in all 4 cases, though not a certainty...
More likely to be my mistake than segovia - I don't pay as much attention to the RX-7 / MX-5 / Skylines lol - too many that are practically the same :D oops.

I find it discouraging when we have nearly 1300 continuous days now in list #1 and still haven't seen four cars.

Discouraging for us. For PD, this could be becoming a marketing issue. How much should someone have to play to access all content that is supposed to be in the game? While I am not for having everything accessible from jump, 1300 games days is a lot without at least seeing all ~800 standards. At what point are they just not in the game because the threshold is just to far out for anyone not dedicated to breaking the code?

Not how, but possibly when. Shows up twice in 900 game days on Master List 1. Shows up 3 times over 2600 days in Master List 2.

As of your last update, you are still showing up 2 days off from the Master. The cars sequence is correct, it is just shifted.

I went back to the pictures I took and I can confirm that the cars in the first column are the correct ones. My pictures don't go as far back as day 1139, however. But it just looks like CLIBBY skipped one car on that day.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the Nismo Skyline GT-R S-tune (R32) '00 makes its first appearance in the list (day 1207).

CLIBBY: I progressed fast because all I did was advance the UCD to fill that gap. I have reset my save game afterwards to actually play through those days -- so now you must actually be ahead of me. Anyway, we'll see very soon (tomorrow, probably) if I will remain in the same list, and if so, in the same area: I'm getting a new PS3.

Are you taking into account the Jag XFR and HPA R32 are prize cars only and dont show up in UCD?

in any case, this is a big let down

Those cars are not included in my count as they never appear in the UCD. The working list I have of all possible cars is found in the first worksheet that I'm posting on google docs (click on the middle link in my sig). That list has 808 cars in it.

The cars that are still missing from the list #1 are the:
Gran Turismo - Formula Gran Turismo
NISMO - GT-R LM Road Going Version '95
Nissan - 350Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan - GT-R Concept LM Race Car

I have the NISMO and the 350Z. Are they winnable? If not, I definitely bought them from the UCD. Bad news is that that account is in the dead zone and has been since I got my new PS3. However, if they aren't winnable, then they have to be in one of the dead spots (Even if I traded for them, which I don't think I did, they would have had to have gotten them somewhere as well. If they can't be won then they would have picked them up in the UCD.)
 
Just about every non-DLC car can be won with a 1000 ticket (I think the only exception is the X2010). The Nismo also has a year associated with it, so it can be won with a '95 birthday ticket. But I think it's very probable that both cars still lie in the shadows of the unexplored depths of the UCD also.
 
Just crossed paint database and ML2 list.
353 car/paint combo aren't there yet. Some are also for unpaintable cars, so the only way to have some combos, if not plan to play for a life waiting, is tickets, prizes or OCD.

By the way, are the Buick Special, Jaguar XFR and the HPA R32 missing in ML#1 too?

EDIT: What a pity you aren't covering the paint field too :(

:ouch: You covered only 100 days in ML1 with colour but checking only from A to Mazda already have found 9 car/paint combo missin in 3000- days covered in ML2 :ouch: :ouch:
I guessed to find some, but this is make trading between ML1 and ML2 more rewarding for collectors!!!!!!!!!

By the way the new paint database is in advanced development. Will release soon.

Hello people. I found my place on master list 1 around day 570 but I lost the run of myself a bit doing some seasonal events and I've gone off the list I was looking at, which went as far as day 599. I presume there's a gap from 599-863 so I'll try generate a list from where I am until I overlap again.

Here's my current UCD it's probably around day 620 or so.

There aren't holes in ML1!!! I think your initial findings in day 570 was wrong.
Download last Tornado release and check in ML2 too!!!
If you are in ML2... there is a LARGE hole between days 1200+ and 1700+ :nervous:
