You know what TDZ< I agree with that just good old spot races with no comment pressure just good old long last fun from time to time! 👍
Do you guys know if there are any other cars that are naturally balanced like the JGTC's that we could try this no tuning deal with?
I did want to launch a Blancpain Enduro GT series, one race a month @ 300km for 12 months just for 🤬 & giggles. Running no tuning would make it that much easier for people to commit too. Everyone always attempts to run a Le Mans series or AMLS series and honestly they're better than nothing, but 8 proto's & 8 GT's over 300km could be a thin field for racing opposed to 16 LM GT cars. Maybe all the LM GT cars @ no tuning could prove to be balanced close enough. Just an idea for now though!

I was telling Spaz about this last night in testing, If Nissan weren't allowed GTR's because of what happened at Bathurst in '92, the current series would suffer such a backlash from the current Australian fans that the sport would have died, I fetched the video,

I found the stealth NSX is about 3 tenths slower than the Raybrig @502hp 1100kg stock.

I don't think so. I was faster online with all my cars. I think 49s will be easy to get. 48s might be a bit of a challenge. The gears are really long with the NSX.

I don't believe there is another large group of cars in GT5 as closely matched as the GT500's. However, you can spec out some street cars to be really close but the more you try to get in, the more likely you are to miss out on something and unless all the tracks are of similar length or design, differences will arise based on the types of tracks. Two cars may be similar at Fuji in terms of lap times but it may not be the same at Trial Mountain for example. In terms of street cars though there are lots of natural groupings and types of car you can put together, so long as you are willing to use the power limiter to get them close in performance.

Thanks JP, when this GT500 series of spot races dies I might try the same with Group C cars, if interest was keen,
I'm actually worried about running these GT500 cars at Fuji, because the Supra's top out very quickly, around 306KPH and the front stretch might become somewhat of a problem for the Supra, same with the 2 long stretches at Spa, they might top out just over the top of Eau Rouge,

I don't think so, in my experience the cars usually run through Eua Rogue at around 250-270kmh. I think they should be ok. Last time I ran an NSX through there it wanted to spin. Hopefully it doesn't act the same with the new updates. BTW I was using the Raybrig and Stealth NSX when I was testing.

Jp I'll probably run all the LM's in a test race and see which are equal and which are not then eliminate them. Hopefully I'll get some what of a grid out it'

Look at my 90s FIA GT series. I have most of those cars already spec'd to what they were IRL.
