Have I just missed discussion on the "Prologue weather display" hinting at tracks that PD might be working on as DLC? Seems like those weren't picked randomly and a fair amount are already in GT5...

Zolder
Tsukuba
Suzuka
Spa
Infineon/Sears Point - GT4
Silverstone
Shanghai
Nurburgring
Motegi - GT4
Monza
Laguna Seca
Monte Carlo
Magny Cours
Le Mans
Jerez
Imola
Hockenheim
Fuji
Estoril
Daytona
Brands Hatch
London City
Eiger Nordwand

Sorry if it's a dup thread, but didn't see anything in search.

*edit: forgot about the 'mystery logos' and El Cap clip on the Red Bull video...

I have always assumed that they have some relevance even though they did not include this weather info in GT5. I don't see them all coming to GT5 though but maybe GT6. Please add Spa, Motegi and Infineon to GT5 plus the old missing original tracks. The rest can wait for the next game.

Gran Turismo lost the Infineon license. Haven't you noticed all of the Audi R8 LMP cars have the Infineon logo blocked out? iRacing holds the Infineon license now I do believe.

I didn't know Infineon had an exclusive deal with iRacing. In that case, I hope it ends soon because I like it more than Laguna Seca.

I had noticed the logos were removed on the Audis, and figured it was something like that... although why Infineon would go with iRacing (25,000 users) over Gran Turismo (5.5 million users) is beyond me. I love Laguna Seca, but Infineon/Sears Point is just as much fun to drive...

Even if they do it's not exclusive, since it's in Forza.

iRacing makes it clear on their website that they do not sign exclusive contracts with any of their partners. They're a niche program used on computers and it really wouldn't make sense for anybody to exclusively limit a track to the series since it doesn't have as much pull as it would if it was in a more traditional console racer.

I may be in the EXTREME minority here, but I'd love to see Thunderhill Raceway Park added to the game. It is a VERY fun track to drive, and I'd really like to see how it compares in-game to real life...

I believe Yamauchi-san would also be in the extreme minority. When he raced there a year or two ago he said he really liked the track. I too wouldn't mind seeing it in as I can't imagine that it would be particularly hard to licence. Although both historically and visually... it doesn't have a lot to offer I'm afraid. And there is a very long list of other tracks that others and I would prefer to have over that. Especially here in North America with tracks like Watkins Glen, Sebring Int'l, Road America, VIR for circuits, not to mention one or two more ovals like Charlotte or Atlanta. Curse me for self promoting but i'd love to see Phoenix Int'l Raceway in it since it's a very technical oval that would probably be exciting to drive on in any car and it has a small infield road course that could be easily included.

Would love to see Willow Springs as well, but I'm not holding my breath... ;)

of the tracks on the list, I think Brands Hatch, Jerez, and Zolder look like a blast ( sucker for tracks with elevation change - have been digging driving Spa online ). And Bathurst would be fantastic as well, although I haven't heard anything about PD working on it and since it takes so long for them to do a track from scratch.... :indiff:
