Little Big Planet and Kill Zone 4 are rumored to be mentioned and/or running on the PS4. One thing that might happen is PD themselves (as in not part of the assumed "reveal") will show GT6 running on the hardware shortly after the announcement. As for a release date, who knows. Seeing that the PS4 will be based on a more conventional architecture than the PS3 (Cell processor based) and that GT6 will be based off of GT5's framework (I assume), development may be quick ... er for GT6 and may very well end up being a possible launch title (or shortly after launch title). That would give Sony a VERY big jump in the next gen console war.

If it took them 5 years to make GT5, and judging the "completeness" of GT5, I can't even imagine how horrible GT6 would be assuming we will be seeing it on the PSM.

PD is a small team, and they need to do something about it.

But they already have the engine made and they have supposedly been working on gt6 for a few years now, there's no real reason for gt6 to be a let down.

And another few years to get it out, (Not including delays and setbacks)

Well.... I just hope the game is consistent and complete.... I'd expect it to be shown at e3 rather than tomorrow, maybe like someone above said we'll just see an up-scaled gt5 demo.

I think the delays with GT5 were partially down to PD needing to custom fit the GT5 engine to suit PS3 when it was built with PS4 in mind. Now there should be no such problem.

I think the 3-D is what slowed GT5 so much. The execs 'needed' it for the 3-D rush with Avatar and all that jazz. *shrug* I can't wait to see the PS4 at the very least, if anything they'll probably announce that they'll announce GT6 at E3.

In recent days and prior to PS4 announcement, SONY has been releasing videos on the history of Playstation. It started with a video for the first Playstation and followed dedicated videos to PS2, PS3 and PSP/Vita.

Well, the last video before the presentation of PS4 is devoted mainly to Gran Turismo.

How could 3D delay it so much? I don't know anything about developing/3D so if that sounds stupid please don't judge

Thats right, you don't know how difficult it was/wasn't to dev 3-D on the cell processor. It also got announced late so it seemed to me that kind of 'haulted' things, but that could just be coincidence...who knows, just a theory 👍

I see, well I only used 3D about twice, so if it was that then, :grumpy:.

Did they say there was going to be just 4 videos? I'm pretty stoked that the first half of that vid was about GT.

With the amount of emphasis Sony have placed on the GT franchise in the latest 'Playstation Evolution' video I think it's just a formality at this point - we can be almost certain to see something mindblowing from PD in little over 24 hours from now.

Totally agree. :D:tup:

Oh no Sony, what have you done to us.....

It really looks like Sony wants to give us fans something great again.

Not just a media device, a real gaming console and some of the best first party franchises out there.

But let us wait and see, if Sony will deliver.

This would end pretty bad, when they give us a miserable show.
