GT6 at PlayStation Meeting ?

Who said its sarcasm. You guys need to pull that blind off and realize Evo studios has the best Racing Ai in any game period.. Not to mention drive club was NEVER stated to be a arcade game.. and the cars look better than they do in Gt5..

Don't compare a PS4 game to a PS3 game. That's strike one. Not to mention it looks like a NFS or Horizon style arcade racer. Strike two.

Point is.....comparing them is stupid.
 
PS4 has 8GB of unified GDDR5 ram. That's a megaton. GT6 should look absolutley phenomenal :) goodbye low res smoke, shadows, screen-tear and frame-drops.
 
With PS4 now being officially announced, we hopefully will get more developers talking about it rather than still being a forbidden name. Kaz in the coming months might even say a few words about a future GT game on it ;).

Its nice to see that Drive Club will be available around launch. This should help with the wait time for GT6.

I'm thinking we will see GT6 at E3 along with the PS4 price and what the console looks like.

A couple of games were mentioned to be available for both PS3 and PS4. I wonder if GT6 will go that same route, too....

Those games probably have similar assets, meaning the only difference will be graphically. Now, a game like GT6 may have more features, and perhaps better A.I. and more cars per track. I don't think they can sell two games if the differences will be too drastic in content and features in terms of what the PS4 can handle and the PS3 can't.

Absolutely.

GT5 on PS3 maxes at 16 cars on the track at once. I think the PS3 has 1/2 GB of RAM (someone correct me if that's wrong).

That's a 16x increase we're getting. Not saying we'll get 128 cars on the track at once, but I think an increase to 24-30 cars seems very reasonable.

It will help just about everything.

At the very least we are getting 1920x1080p, a stable 60fps, 4xAA or more, and higher res assets.

I hope GT6 makes full use of the share button. Live streaming races sounds would be amazing.

If we can't buy more than one car at a time from the UCD, it's just candy coated crap.

This thing today (PS4 Announcement) was huge.

I think they didn't want to show bits of GT7 Prologue when they are getting ready to launch GT6 for the PS3.

Think of it this way. Evolution Studios have been working on their game, DriveClub for longer. With that in mind, I don't think it'd be a good idea to present two racing games in one event such as this.

I personally think it's a smart move. This game can be used to help bring in racers at launch. Then after several months, GT6 will release and take over. When you have two exclusive racers, it's best to spread them out, right?
