Gran Turismo 4 had the right idea for my next post in this thread when GT4 debuted Caterham. Whoever thought a concept car would be just as competitive as certain high-end sports cars when fully tuned up (the Suzuki GSX-R/4)? See where I'm getting at here? I wouldn't mind seeing more lightweight beasts in GT6. Among others:
* (more Caterhams)
* some Ariel cars (Ariel Atom 300, Ariel Atom V8)
* BAC Mono
* Radical (SR1, SR3 RS, SR3 SL, SR8, RXC)
I'm actually surprised we haven't seen as many of these lightweight, race cars for the road in Gran Turismo titles. I'll tell you what. If Radical was in GT6, I would race and tune the hell out of a Radical. I also would want to see more of these cars more utilized in races and championships. You know most of the vehicles I've listed would be winning by default for events like British Lightweights. I would love to race a One-Make Series or Championship featuring only Radicals. Same would apply to Ariel. How about some Time Trial events open to cars like Radicals and Ariels? I would also be open to drive the wheels off of the BAC Mono, and I would also be giddy to race some more Caterhams.
