AlvaroFI've gone dry for car suggestions so here is a Proton Rally Car
I would rather have the Super 2000 rally cars instead of the WRCs. Whenever I play DiRT 3 I choose them over them.
Fiat Abarth Grande Punto S2000 Rally Car
Ford Fiesta S2000 Rally Car
Mini Countryman S2000 Rally Car
Peugeot 207 S2000 Rally Car
Proton Satria Neo S2000 Rally Car
AlvaroFDon't forget the Skoda Fabia S2000 Rally Car
I suck at rallying but I love these cars you'll post. If they bring some of them in GT6 I would probably use them for racing lol.
I suck at rallying too, but I do agree on having more rally cars. Although, I think a lot of you guys know that already due to a few pages ago, I went Rally Crazy.
Team THRT DriftI also love rallying. I just dislike people who know only a tiny bit about rallying and yet that information is wrong. A guy goes: "Rallying.... hmm... oh yeah, that's just drifting in dirt!" No.... no. Just no. Go back to your cave!
Check out Loeb Challenge in GT5. He sort of explains very simply what rally is. I love rally, although I don't know everything about it.
The Stig FarmerI hope you're both being sarcastic when you say you don't understand rally racing...
I don't do it and never understand it.
A rally consists of several point-to-point time trials on closed roads called special stages. The surfaces on these roads vary from tarmac to gravel to snow/ice.
The winner of the rally is the driver who completes all of the stages with the lowest aggregate time.
This might give you a better idea of rally stages than anything GT6 has shown;

Team THRT DriftYou mean GT5.. but yeah, that's what it is really. Sometimes it's a combination of tarmac and gravel/snow and ice. You could call cross-country races rallying right? I mean essentially it is. You race against time at certain closed off roads then continue the next day to set a time in another stage. When I explained rallying and cross-country races to a friend he was thinking of the series "Canonball Run" which is sort of close to cross-country, except they do it ilegally and on open roads (open to traffic and civilians).
doyley101That's more rally raid, such as the Paris-Dakar. Rallys in the WRC consist of Around 15-20 special stages with a total length of 300-500km, spread over 3-4 days. Its rare for a stage to be over 40km (25 miles).
