That's actually really odd. I always thought you needed to unlock it, as it never showed up under any of the track lists. Then last night I was looking through the Drag Racing forums and found a few other people stating the track would be included later. I figured that they just didn't include it for whatever reason. I will go through the track list and see if I find it.
It's most definitely there. It's under original circuits, I believe.

The only reason the drag racers couldn't find it is because, well, you know, drag racers...

Wonder why they mentioned BMW in that sentence. Do they know BMW VGT is next then, Subaru? They could have mentioned joining Toyota in this series.
Maybe BMW and Subaru are both going to release their cars in January, from the pictures the BMW looks already finished.

Well SSRX doesn't even have machine test options available, which is a pretty big fail if you ask me.

Just wondering why it is I can't adjust the downforce on race cars that come with wings and that I can't change... :/

On the track side of things, seems that Seattle will be returning to the series at some point, as it was seen in the NSX Concept trailer. Also, there's still the Pike's Peak rumor (considering they added 3 new Pike's Peak cars, I somehow doubt it's just a rumor, but we'll see) and the possibility of Sebring. I wouldn't expect to see Sebring until March, though, to coincide with the 12 Hours.

Has there been news about Sebring being in GT6, or is it speculative at this point?

...And see, the words more to come are the problem. The game actually has less in bone stock 1.00 than GT5 does. No seasonal challenges, barely any special events, none of this Senna content, and no online. That's pretty silly considering GT5 had all of those on the last update, I would expect that from GT6. (Minus Senna content as that wasn't in GT5) Oh and did I forget course maker?.
Sorry, but GT5 didn't have seasonals at first either, and GT6 does have online, just not the full version yet, and players are required to show a bit of ability before it will unlock...but it's there.

Though it seems you are comparing the updated (spec 2) GT5 with the just released GT6? For a fair comparison, surely wait until the end of GT6's first year, I think would be better.

Sorry for the off-topic.

Personally I feel the day one release of a sequel should equal that of the final version of its predecessor.

Well, I understand your point, but GT6 has been touted from quite a while ago as being something of an experiment - ie: PD will be updating throughout, which is why I think waiting a year would be fairer.

Where is this list of release times for these VGT cars. I can't wait for them!

If SS posts it, just best to take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks eSZee, I will listen to your advice. Just wanted to be sure. Too many people post without sources or credibility from others, and we start speculating and have our hopes set too high.

Spent a lot of years going to Sebring, wish GT had it in, but seems that Turn 10 has hold of all the ALMS courses.

I like! I like! I like!

Could everyone please stop posting these false assumptions that if T10 has something GT doesn't, then they must have a complete license? PD doesn't scan ALMS tracks because it's probably difficult getting a scanning team with all their equipment to the US and back. They can't do this every time a new track becomes an option, so they do it every once in a while.

Guys for me this is kinda "new/s"...I test all my new cars (today I bought a lot and varied cars from classics to supercars) at Streets of Willow, and decided to put the hour at 17:45 and the weather at 100% (never touched weather at Willow...it was always at 0%)...started to "test" and......FOG....fog yes, everywhere!! The car (Toyota 2000GT in its Premium glory!) had even its lights ON and I was racing before at the same hour and the lights were OFF.

I´m not sure if all of you/us knew this but yes...there is FOG in Gran Turismo 6...I thought that any time soon the rain will come but nope...it stayed the same, very foggy and dark. :D

Try it out if you had no idea, it is kinda cool...if you already knew...Why I never saw a thread or anything? :odd:

Edit and add pictures with a MP4 12C in the fog:

Did the same the other day - I was hoping to get some clouds and see if the lighting changed much but as you say just fog, no clouds, no rain. Apparently it doesn't rain in the Californian desert.

Yes indeed, I found this out last week by selecting 100% weather for a Streets of Willow race at night! Now that was a poor visibility race :)

Sorry I didn't mention it earlier, just assumed plenty of people would have already found this out.

Starting in 2014 there is no ALMS. it and the Rolex series are merging. so this shouldn't be an issue if it is indeed the reality of it.
