So another update with another unexpected car (or 2 if you count the second Merc VGT) but no Community features?

Kinda bummed, but at least we got new content. That's a good thing right?

Minor update to the main menu looks good.

Those things are noisy, I'm leading by 8 second and I can hear the cars, but you cannot when using the cockpit view

I'm scared to even attempt the championship...don't even want to think about the final vettel challenge.

The car itself has a lot of wheelspin and a lot of grip, might be hard to control in mid-speed sections

I haven't been able to play in nearly 2 weeks...I'm dying! I'll have some time tomorrow so I'll pull out my old wheel (my new one was broken when I got it so I'm for a replacement) and play for as long as possible!

Wish me luck, I'm going to do the fan car challenge :nervous:

Is not that hard, I beat the gold time by four seconds (Monza), now it is Spa's turn, then Suzuka :scared::nervous:

Haha, and to think all the people in the other thread were freaking out about the Red Bull update being pushed to February. Like I said, lots of freaking out and no solid conformation.

And well damn, guess that winged Mercedes VGT is actually happening, just thought it was one of the stages of the design.

And finally: Hugely surprised to see the Corvette from SEMA in the game, wasn't expecting that.

Jesus I love this game, did a little playing around with the controller (haven't done that in over a year!) just because I couldn't stay away. Going to wait until tomorrow to do the events and such though.

P.S. Anyone else find it way, way easier to drift with the DS3? I took my 458 to streets of willow and could pretty much do donuts around that painted circle on the skid pad for as long as I wanted.

Oh good, because that thing needs downforce and
Wait they made it lower?

Yup, here's a full breakdown of all the non-visual changes made to the car.

"The AMG 5.5 liter V8 Twin Turbo has been raised to 591 HP, and the 7 speed dual clutch transmission has been optimized for transmission performance rather than ride comfort; now changed to a sequential transmission with dog links. Though the original is already extremely light at 1,385 kg, equipment for utility and comfort have been omitted to reduce the weight down to 1,300 kg. Lowering the ride height even further, the center of gravity has also been lowered for better circuit performance."

I can't wait to drive it! I love the big beast that is the normal one so this should be great!
