My only complaint would be that there were no premium upgrades for the AE86 or the Supra. Other than that, I'm happy with the new car list; lots of great additions (LUNAR BUGGY FTW)

I like how they added the Subaru S206 NBR CHALLENGE PACKAGE '12 and the Subaru IMPREZA WRX STI spec C '09, as the Lotus Elise '11.

They are very British/UK centric cars. If it was developed in the UK you would probably see them. Given DP is a Japanese outfit, there are shed loads of Japanese cars.

It's true for the Fords, however PD have spent quite a considerable amount of time in the UK mapping 3 tracks, it would have seemed logical to include some UK cars such as these and older Astons, Jags, Lotus' etc.

I really hoping for some V8SC's. I guess it's possible they can still be announced, or at least be future DLC.

The list is solid though I suppose. I'm just really excited about a select few race cars like the GT300 BRZ. The Base Models are really interesting to me, I hope they are just paintable versions of existing race cars. Then it'd be like iRacing pretty much. They should've done that a while back. Although maybe they have further customization features to make them really stand out... that would explain why they didn't just go ahead and make base models of every single race car since all it seems it would take (if they're just paintable) to produce them is a simpler reskin with a paintable mesh overlay or whatever. Interesting to think about...

That has to be a mistake, the EXP wasn't around in 2003. The regular Speed 8 debuted in 2003.

It states on the official GT website that "This list is ONE PART of the cars planned for inclusion, and is subject to change." Mercedes themselves confirmed that the new E63 and A45 will be in the game and they are not on the list so I'm gussing this is not the full car list.

I'm so releaved to see a decent list from PD this time around but to be perfectly honest these cars should have been in GT5. Also I want to see some more legendary cars such as a mark 1 ford escort and the mercedez SL65 black edition and where are the new RUF's? are we even going to get premium versions of the RUF cars?

Some pretty outrageous omissions of iconic cars that should be on the game no matter what.
But I don´t share the general opinion that it is caused by PD´s stupidness... I believe there is far more behind these omissions than people are thinking..

Remember people that there's no distinction between Standard and Premium anymore. All cars that were premium in GT5 will be premium in GT6. They just added 125+ more.

As for the missing NSX being apart of the Vision GT lineup. I don't think so. Those cars, for the most part seem to be being kept under wraps until revealed the the exception of a couple like BMW's. While the new NSX is a GT car, the point of creating a Vision GT car would be to create a car without limits. Besides, known about the NSX since Iron Man 3.

Here we go again. Let me some up what's about to happen before it starts to save everyone the trouble: "PD sucks! This car isn't in the game, this feature/track/person isn't in the game. I know there's licensing issues and things but they still suck for not being able to read my thoughts as to what I want and include it in the game. There's too many standards/japanese cars/of the same car. wah wah wah wah wah blah blah blah etc..."

"Guys it's a GT game and yeah it's not perfect, but there's no need to flame PD for it. And if you really don't like it, don't play the game."

There you go. That's the next 4 weeks in an nut shell. Props to PD for releasing the information so close to launch so we don't have to deal with 2 straight years of it.

The "new" cars are just that, new cars to the series.

The premium upgraded cars are listed as new to GT6, at the top. The Supra is not one of them.

They aren't carbon they are basically like the RM cars in GT5.You will be able to at least paint them and change the number.

We are still hoping that more are actually converted since some premium cars that were standard in gt5 was spotted in the trailer,but didn't make it to the new to gt6 list.... That and the fact the list isn't complete yet..But me personally,since really presumably the only difference between standard and premium in gt6 is the lack of interior,I don't really mind if they are still standards.I just hope they updated the textures and remove those awful jaggies.

The area in which PD really dropped the ball is in relevant cars. Sure many of the 100 new cars are cool, but alot of them arent relevant. We want to drive a car we see racing at Le Mans or on the lateset cover of Car and Driver, or the newest models on the Dealership's lot. Those types of cars should take precdent. Yes the '77 Firebird Trans Am is a cool car, but its not very relevant anymore and should have took a back seat to something like a McLaren P1 or Toyota TS030 or Aston Martin DBR9 GTE, or the latest Civic, Fusion or Camry.

I mean the lack of ordinary cars is bizarre. Its either feast or famine. Its either ecobox crap or some 70s classic or a moon rover. Theres no consistency at all. Do they really, really think an Audi R18 is the only new prototpe we need or want to race? Or that we wont care there is not a F50 or F355? You know the cars most GT fans had hanging on their walls as posters growing up?

Besides that 1200 number is extremel infalted. 100 skylines for a start....

1: McLaren P1 has FOR NOW a license with Forza. We'll get it eventually, Forza had a similar hold on the SRT Viper for a while.
2: There is no Aston Martin DBR9 GTE - you either mean the GT1 spec (NOT GT2/GTE) DBR9 or the V8 Vantage GT2. I'd prefer the GT3 DBRS9 though...
3: We got some classic Ferrari's.
4: There NASCAR. PD has NASCAR license.
5: How is a Civic not relevant?

Umm quality versus quantity......I'd rather quality. Many are duplicates, and rehashed Ps2 ports. 4-500 premiums is more then enough. This all over the place quality of GT is really hurting the series.

they say all the cars in gt5 are in gt6 and now we see the some cars are missing...like the wrc cars, the ferraris f1s, the gt academy cars. so why did PD say that and the cars are missing??
some cars are missing like the new mercedes AMG also confirmed by mercedes, the new NSX ,the eckkerts mustang sema show, th aston martin win, the ferrari of the pebble show,and the cars of the tokyo motor show??

maybe another part (second part) of the complete list or maybe DLC?? what do you think?
