Yeah, and we've been driving 2/3 of those cars for a decade now. God forbid people wanting more new vehicles.

And God forbid people wanting vehicles with actual differences and not just the name...

Let's not lie to us, yes the car list has some neat surprises and PD showed they're trying and that they can listen BUT it's still far from perfect. We still lack important new cars, we still got tons of duplicates and we still haven't got iconic cars that everyone wants (MkIV Supra, too hard Kaz?).

About the dealership pic from GT6 website, at Lamborghini manufacter after the first page with those 10 Lamborghini, there's a second page where Aventador and Diablo GT-1 is. There may be another Lambos that will show later maybe some more Lambos like a normal Miura, a 350GT (first Lambo ever),a Sesto Elemento and a Veneno maybe and maybe also a Murcielago GT2 and Gallardo GT3 if I give an example of a fine and decent Lamborghini dealership in GT6. Now dealership have been splitted in Continents. (Europe, America and Asia/Oceania)

By now 382 cars are Premium and the rest "upgraded standard" since we won´t use the therm any more. (they will still be standards for me though)
Missing the new Mercedes Benz cars and some others like Aston Martin Zagato and maybe some more.

I like the "Premium List" since some of my beloved cars appeared (McLaren F1 GTR ,Lamborghini Diablo , Enzo FXX, Huayra, BMW M3 GT3, BMW Z4 GT3, MB SLS GT3,Audi R8 LMS...etc)

Yet I need to see the M3 E30 (I drove an E30 2.0i but no "M" a while back), BMW M5 F10, BMW M6, BMW M4 once it comes out, some RUF´s, MB C63 AMG Black Edition, Audi RS4, some Saab (why not?), and more...wish list ahead. lol

The area in which PD really dropped the ball is in relevant cars. Sure many of the 100 new cars are cool, but alot of them arent relevant. We want to drive a car we see racing at Le Mans or on the lateset cover of Car and Driver, or the newest models on the Dealership's lot. Those types of cars should take precdent. Yes the '77 Firebird Trans Am is a cool car, but its not very relevant anymore and should have took a back seat to something like a McLaren P1 or Toyota TS030 or Aston Martin DBR9 GTE, or the latest Civic, Fusion or Camry.

I mean the lack of ordinary cars is bizarre. Its either feast or famine. Its either ecobox crap or some 70s classic or a moon rover. Theres no consistency at all. Do they really, really think an Audi R18 is the only new prototpe we need or want to race? Or that we wont care there is not a F50 or F355? You know the cars most GT fans had hanging on their walls as posters growing up?

Besides that 1200 number is extremel infalted. 100 skylines for a start....

You'd have a Camry over a Firebird!? Each to their own I guess...

I too miss some cars but there is about 100 new cars. Which is added to an already great collection. But my dream would be more Ferraris, Koenigseggs and Lambos and of course, the P1.

As we know Forza 5 has a timed exclusive on the P1 so I'm sure we will get that on or near the day the exclusive times out.

My bad, been trying to find where i read this all day, think it was Jalopnik but no luck.

Although I am impressed with the amount of cars in GT6, there are some very notable cars that seem missing. It mainly focus's around 2012/13/14 era cars and I am wondering if the modelling process has taken a while? Also, they may release later via DLC... examples below:

2013 Alfa Romeo 4C
2009 Ford Focus RS
2011 Pagani Zonda F
2012 Audi TT RS
2013 Audi RS4/6 Quattro Avant
2006 Audi RS4 Quattro
2003 BMW M3 E46
1987 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth

You get the idea... key performance cars really IMO. Hopefully DLC will bring us more... Just my two cents.

I'm so releaved to see a decent list from PD this time around but to be perfectly honest these cars should have been in GT5. Also I want to see some more legendary cars such as a mark 1 ford escort and the mercedez SL65 black edition and where are the new RUF's? are we even going to get premium versions of the RUF cars?
Yeah, and we've been driving 2/3 of those cars for a decade now. God forbid people wanting more new vehicles.

lol, very true. If they were all premium with current modeling techniques, it'd be another story. But even then, the number of modern cars is still quite low.

I'm pretty okay with the list, I wanted it diverse so there should just be enough for little to no Standards in most types of races. The real Gems to me though are the Renault 8 Gordini (Only other game to have it is V Rally 2), the Short Tail McLaren F1 GTR and the classic Ferrari's. Sure, there are some glaring emissions, but the DLC should at least include some of them.

I understand exclusives but GT should be able to be excluded from that because it's all about the love of cars. Yeah there's more money to be made but at the end of the day GT is about the love of cars.

Two things:
-there are some key cars missing (Koenigsegg, RUF, E30 M3 and those Hyper things on wheels)
-my life is now complete! I can drive my ultimate dream car, the Ferrari 250GTO

I don't think it was in the demo, it was seen at Silverstone when the demo was released...

When was Keonigsegg and the E30 confirmed? Missed that one...

After the release of Gran Turismo 5, over 30 cars were released as both free-of-charge or paid DLC. From the Corvette C7 Test Prototype, to the Scion FR-S, to the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and to the Red Bull X2011 Prototype, the hottest new cars were added to the line-up and made available to everyone via download from the PlayStation®Store.
Gran Turismo 6 will contain approximately 1200 cars at time of release, and more and more cars are planned to be added thereafter. Unlike the previous title, the added cars will appear directly in the dealerships after an update, and will be available to purchase in game. You will be able to enjoy driving the newest cars right after they are released in the market.

Above is from the website, so I am optimistic...

mickoafna you are right. Thats what iam trying to say all the time.

E 63 AMG
E 63 AMG S (Wagon!?)
A 45 AMG
ARE CONFIRMED BY PD AND MERCEDES ! BUT THEY ARE NOT IN THE LIST.
The M5 F10 was PLAYABLE in a Demo but doesnt appear in the list either.

WE will definetly get more cars

Wait what? What demo? Do you have a link?

I know I might sound crazy here, but I think PD might reveal some other standard cars from the past GT in the car list updates & maybe some other premiumized standards.

I also think there might be more car dlc than what GT5 had as Kaz seemed to talk about DLC quite a bit in a few of his interviews. He was always saying things like "fans for now should focus on GT6 dlc". This is my silly theory though, I don't expect it to come true.

Have any pics of the Diablo GT-1 in the dealership?

I still want to know why they chose a 1978 Firebird over a late 4th gen model. One of the stupidest ideas on the list IMO.
My guess is they already had a 4th Gen Camaro twice (both LT1 and LS1 models). I like the addition honestly.

Thing is though, neither of those Camaros is premium, and honestly the Firebird is a better looking car.

Also, the Bandit T/A is a fairly pathetic car, and I think the Formula of that time (see: NFS The Run) is a better looking car anyway (also likely more rigid and better handling due to lack of T-tops).

Oh please do give us a source of this infomation... Reading the comment underneath, it would appear as if you didn't have any facts to back up your claim...

People shouting "OMG, this car is only in this game, thus that dev must have exclusive rights!"is getting really tiresome.

Project CARS will include the P1 very soon. They announced it a week or two ago. They already included the McLaren MP4 12C GT and the McLaren F1 (the newer model not the actual beast from 1994).

Before asking...yup I have the game and the cars of course.

So no, there is no exclusivity what so ever. The P1 will be in NFS Rivals as well.

^ I hope we get more than 30 cars this time on DLC. But it does look hopefull.

I don't remember if there were 30 actual real cars as DLC, discounting all those Tuned Car models. That tuned car pack was really a cheap way of providing DLC. Not that I minded them, but those should've been race modifications, not full cars -- and I wish the time went into making more new cars (even just a few) over all those modified existing cars. I hope GT6 doesn't try to pull anything like that. Only real cars that exist (obviously the Vision GT cars will be exempt since we know we're getting them) as DLC please, not tuned cars.

No, that's the only pic of the Lambo dealership. The Nomad Diablo is on the car list though, so surely it is on the next page to the right, along with the Aventador.

I'm contented with the car list so far. I like the AAR Cuda, Peugeot RCZ and the 250 GTOs to name a few.

If I were to go into wishful thinking again, I'd ask Kaz to include JDM 4-doors such as the Nissan Laurel and Toyota Mark II. And Australian cars like the HSV Maloo.

Very true. I agree with you that the Firebirds are a better looking car but for some reason PD favors the Camaro compared to any other pony cars even going back to GT1.
