Well I saw a silver SLS for the first time this week. I think it might be the only one in this city, maybe in the country!
And man the throaty growl it has, in the flesh, is unlike any V8 I've ever heard.
Damn loud for a stock standard car!

You never get that feeling in GT5.....

^ Yeah, from outside, wait till you get inside :) driving for real, it won't be as loud.

The street legal SLS still does sound pretty loud inside, at least far more than 98% of road cars out there. A family friend owns one, and getting a short ride in it completely changed my opinion on the car - big fan now 👍

Pity the SLS looks so plain, compared to the white LFA (probably the only one in the country) that I see every morning at the local Lexus service centre/office, when I do my delivery runs there  :)

Time change for the 1:02 minutes it takes to cross the finish line? :boggled:

No i mean it's not the same time on the track as other videos. In other videos , Goodwood looks way more sunnier. So we can expect time change for that track I think( and hope!)

There'll always be some visual delay. It has to process on PS3 and redraw onto the TV. Of course an option to remove the steering wheel if you want to would help.

Don't forget that input lag on the TV itself is contributing as well.

Just checked multiple videos, and the shadow direction is the same in each one of them. So looks like no time change (or at least not enabled in the demos).

Good: PD knows how to nail a desired attitude with a simple 100-second video 👍

Bad: ...by using a bunch of dubbed-over engine sounds. C'mon, guys!

Certainly looks good, and it seems to have adjustable time-of-day.

Apparently all of the new tracks have Time and or weather :D

The dubbed sounds were pretty obvious though :ouch:

At least the fact that they dub over the engine sounds proves they know the in game sounds aren't up to par. We do know they are working on them for GT6 and presumably won't update the game with them until they are satisfied with the result which will hopefully be every bit as good as the dubbed sounds they are using.

Very happy with Bathurst! I've been wanting Mount Panorama to get the Gran Turismo treatment for soooo many years now! :)

Very well said Nato! 👍

Great to finally see Bathurst in GT. A major thumbs up to the inclusion of the track.

However, when it comes to trailers, PD really have to stop dubbing them and making it so obvious. It was rather off-putting.

I don't care about the dubbed sounds. All I need to know is that the track is confirmed, PD is working on the Sound, and lastly, as Nato implied, using in-game GT sounds would make this trailer BAD so at least they know that much.

Nope. No new cars. Only an un-Anniversary liveried Viper and a better glimpse of the R18.

I'm not a sound expert by any stretch...but how do we know for certain they are dubbed sounds and not part of PD's sound breakthrough they are working on? I know they sound better than anything ever on GT, but is it a certainty they are dubbed and how so?
