I'm loving driving at Eiger so far, had a grandstand view of @GOTMAXPOWER v's @Tidgney this morning as they went past on the way to a 1-2
There we are, 3 wide all in the air!

Yeah I've maxed everything in the game and the wheel, and it's still way too light - then tried the same settings on Suzuka and it weighs a ton. Tried the SF cars and it's also far too light til there's some downforce on.That is correct 🤣
What is even worse (not by much) is even maxing DD torque the steering is sooooo light.
Genuinely think pad users are gonna find this one at least initially easier than wheel users.
Not quite, when you add on the loading screen, a minute of warmup and waiting for everybody to finish and the cash to be awarded, etc it's just about too late to make it into the next race A or B. It should be 6 laps or 16 in my opinion. So Daily C is seven laps around a track that takes, let's say 75 seconds; and Daily B is five laps around a track that takes about two mins. Thus, Daily B is a longer race than Daily C? And I am assuming, C is still every 30 mins start time? So you start a C at the top of the hour, and nine minutes later you need to wait 20 mins for the next race?
I feel like it's one of those races where your enjoyment depends on those around you, if you're surrounded by donkeys 4 hairpins in a row sounds like a recipe for disaster.Still, C is an enjoyable combo (not tried a race yet though, so my opinion may change 🤣 )
Ok, so it's not just me then. I made a comment in the TT thread after doing Spa in this car that the FFB was way lower than any other car I've driven since the update. (I've heard the SF cars are way low as well, which seems bass ackwards.)That is correct 🤣

Its even fairly light on my cranked ddXOk, so it's not just me then. I made a comment in the TT thread after doing Spa in this car that the FFB was way lower than any other car I've driven since the update. (I've heard the SF cars are way low as well, which seems bass ackwards.)
Road cars feel great; Gr3/4 cars feel great. This Honda is like 10% of the FFB those cars are getting. I am not about to redo all my FFB settings around this 272 so I just deal with it.
Time Trial Discussion
My first wet TT! Given how much I suck on wet track I doubted whether I could even Gold this one. Though it turned out way better than I thought - maybe the v1.49 physics helped with a much better feel of the grip level and slip on wets? Was in Top 100 when I did the lap but I would be happy...www.gtplanet.net
As it matches the Nations Cup Qualification Race for Prague 1:1, I doubt it's anything but intentional.I've messaged Hizal to see if the time slots for C need to be changed, long shot but it worked the last times when the race slots were too short for the race instead.
No I know I mean the entry slot, sorry. As in having it changed to run every 20 minutes like A and B instead of every 30 minutes, which is a bit much for an 8 minute race.As it matches the Nations Cup Qualification Race for Prague 1:1, I doubt it's anything but intentional.
Undrivable in my opinion - feels like the tyres are racing bicycle size, inflated to 100 PSI.(I've heard the SF cars are way low as well, which seems bass ackwards.)
PD is bound and determined to waste literally every single opportunity to use this car. First it was only using it in pointless Race A, then another sub-10-minute race in Nation's, and now a sub-10-minute Race C without even the basic decency to shorten the intermission between races. Oh and of course it's a rolling start too, in keeping with Grand Prix tradition...🙄So Daily C is seven laps around a track that takes, let's say 75 seconds; and Daily B is five laps around a track that takes about two mins. Thus, Daily B is a longer race than Daily C? And I am assuming, C is still every 30 mins start time? Hi, How do you track your DR like this?Mission accomplished. My goal was to get from DR E to DR B in one week. Actually I didn't start the week that way but as I started to see results in the VR and finding cars I liked, I gained a new love for Trial Mountain and decided to see if I could get to B. Honestly, before the VR I preferred the reverse version of the track but with the newly found depth perception and perhaps the physics change, I found all the twists and turns seemed much more reasonable. Still, I had a few ups and down (ahem five) in the week. As a result it took 21 races to get there including 3 DR E races where the DR does not count (I did two DR E last week for the requisite initial 5).
The last race was a mix of B and C racers and I was in 7th to start. I was thinking that might be trouble but as I am finding that as I can race to my QT pace now, it actually wasn't that bad progressing up the board to finish 3rd. I think a lot of these racers fall into my old m.o. which was QT by chasing a ghost and then not being able to drive to that in race. That's my advantage now, but now I am in B I'll have to come to terms with starting more mid pack if I'm not going to chase that rabbit.

I'm done for the week. That was a lot of racing. The VR is still so cool I want to do more but I really should do real things in reality for what is left of the weekend.
Hi, How do you track your DR like this?
It's the worstYeah, I'm waiting for a patch to fix the logi pro's lightness on this car (ra272). Still, I jumped into a race this morning, it's pretty decent and fun! Half my grid didn't qualify, started p6, finished p6 (did not stay that way throughout the race! Also got the crb!) People were at least trying to be clean and I had some decent battles. But man, oh man, I've cranked every setting up but the wheel is just lifeless on this car.
Agreed. I've not driven many cars since the update (mainly the SF23 in a couple leagues, and the Eiger CE), but I had no problem with my G29 being too light until driving the RA272 in the Honda TT. The strength was already at 8 before the update, and cranking it up to the max did absolutely nothing to fix the wet noodle feedback. It's the worst
Not only a direct drive problem this time, on G923 you can almost steer this car with two fingers. What is even worse (not by much) is even maxing DD torque the steering is sooooo light.
@Talon16 you should try Gr.2, the FFB after the update makes it the best category to drive imo.Ok, so it's not just me then. I made a comment in the TT thread after doing Spa in this car that the FFB was way lower than any other car I've driven since the update.
